Obviously you didn't watch the game from your description of events. May I add a disclaimer saying that pessimists should deduct two from all my scores. I actually did watch the game and feel 9/10 for a striker that posed NO/ZERO/ZILCH threat on goal is just pathetic. Try replacing Rooney or Drogba with Martins tonight and Im sure you wont get a better result. It was an extremely tough game for Martins and he did very well. I don't care whther or not it was Martins fault or not! I don't rate players based on whether or not it was their fault. The fact is, whether it was down to Martins or not, that it was a tough game for him and he didn't pose a threat. Unless we give him a 9 anyway as sympathy because it wasn't directly his fault and that if the team had played more attacking he might have been more of a threat? So if a player is playing with 10 crap players and he is doing very well but cant get past 5 players every time he has the ball to be a threat against goal you would still rate him badly? This is just an excample because I think we defended well but was not enough support for Martins which I had guessed before the game. Erm, why would he have to be a threat every time he gets the ball? Martins wasn't a threat throughout the entire game, same how can you give him a 9? If a striker isn't getting the service, you give him an average mark. By your logic, we could lose 12-0 and Martins could get a 9? I think this is also the point of a midfield. Look, I can't believe your saying that it was not a good performance. FFS lol. It is not a good result, but it was a good performance, surely you can accept that! I've never said it wasn't a good performance? A good effort and performance and a "great performance" are worlds apart, imo. Surely you can accept that? I meant great but anyway. My point is still valid. Given the circumstances that was a great perfromance. Surely?

If its hair you are talking about yes,but definitely not the looks.Anyway,I think Brown would be a good addition to the squad.He has done well with Man Utd and 3m is a decent price for a player like him.I dont think Fergie would want to loan him here though.
