  1. He really wasn't man. Trust me, he was a point machine but he had changed his game far too much and was slowing down play too much for Dunga's tactics. However I do agree that he, Ganso and Neymar should've gone. Those three would've brought something needed when going bad. Problem in 2010 was fact we didn't have one player off the bench that could make a difference. A bit like this year. Not one offensive player that could come off the bench and change the game.
  2. Every well paid Brazilian ever. This was easily my initial thought, but then again not all paid Brazilians were even good at some point.
  3. Lance Armstrong? Probably best one, in terms of footballer there are plenty of Brazilians out there. Adriano comes to mind. Rivaldo, Ronaldinho fell as fast as they could as well.

I'm not so sure - Carver/Stone/Woodman are no better than Pardew. If we're left with them we're just as f***ed. I'm 50/50. I really don't want them, but if we give them to the end of the season I'm willing to support them until the 40p barrier is reached. Then I'll hate on them.
  5. No chance on signing Winston Reid. What has this club come to ffs.
  6. Didn't prevent him from releasing though did he? He prevented him from kicking it after releasing it. Doesn't touch him either. I actually never knew of that rule, always thought it was legal as long as the goalie isn't touched but guess I was wrong.
  7. I actually never thought of that as illegal. Always wanted someone to do that.
  8. ?? The playera declined in form. Pep left because he didn't think he could motivate them further. The systems not the same as it was, regardless of the players. There's less hunting in packs, everything started going through the middle, the intensity is nothing like what it was and the passing isn't as good as it was imo. I dunno if VI would say the same, but I much preferred Messi out on the right than through the middle as well. Weirdly, Bayern Munich were playing that way even in the season before Guardiola went there. I dunno why Barca haven't carried it on. Don't agree. Messi became better through the middle. And no Bayern didn't play the same way under Heynckes as under Pep.
  9. Biggest mess was getting rid of Thiago despite him being injury riddled.

  11. Him and Xavi should just fuck off as fast as possible.
  12. Shouldve started Neymar and Messi.
  13. Xavi is so shit nowadays. Pisses me off
  14. Thinking of putting big money on Carver, Sanchez and Hoddle just so I don't get too disappointed when one of them are eventually appointed.

    It's glorious.
  16. I can only imagine two things from his twitter and his sisters twitter. 1. He's gone to PSG. or 2. He's really really happy Pardew is gone. Bet it's both.
  17. Trying to figure out what that was. Came up really weird on my screen.
  18. I think it's the home games where we really need to make a statement. Fans should still go to away games, but it's an empty St James Park that might hit Ashley hard.

I like it. He's a coach of fucking WBA, he's not a CEO of some amazing company.
  20. Gateshead seems to be on TV worldwide except in the UK.

Just wanting to say it'll be the first time I watch them play live on TV today. Televised here in Brazil against WBA. More excited about this then I would've been with our game.
  23. He's worthless that's why. Might as well get his wages off the books. Not if the new manager wants him His value is zero. You asked why Ashley doesn't sell him, the answer is he's worth nothing. Out of contract in the summer, clubs abroad can talk to him now, hasn't played regularly for almost a year and has serious question marks over his mental state. Giving him away is about the best when can hope for, we may even have to pay part of his wages to get the move away. http://www.reactiongifs.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/14kwrhk.gif
  24. Strange. I thought your defensive hero Dummet was far worse, along with Williamson and Janmaat. Coloccini wad probably the best of the back four ask things considered. Janmaat was by far and I mean by far the best defender on the pitch because he has a decent first half. They were all terrible at best overall though, and Dummett was by far the worst player on the pitch imo with our goalkeeper.
  25. Seeing Chelsea getting beat has cheered you up Mou off the top as it stands, still can't believe City p*ssed it away again Burnley. He's struggling tactically for balance which is unusual considering the start they made tho the season. Think the have to play Cesc as a number 10 and get a more dynamic partner for Matic personally they lack drive in the middle of the park for me. Bingo! Cesc number 10, and Ramirez alongside Matic. So obvious. No idea why Fabregas plays so deep. He'd get 3 assists a game further up the pitch. Oscar and Willian don't do anything near enough as far as assists and goals go. I know many will disagree but I don't think Oscar is good enough to start for a team like Chelsea. Does work very hard to be fair though Good enough when he wants. Just way too inconsistent. Reminds me far too much of Coutinho. Seems to have some spells where he is absolutely amazing mixed with those where he just throws himself tackling everywhere without purpose (like at the World Cup).
