Wouldn't he just be on the bench? Depends on who they bring in to replace Götze and Lewandowski. Now,I don't expect a 18 year old from Liga Adelante to start for them, but he could get more game time than he could do here (Dortmund's squad depth isn't too good), in a very competitive environment with a team that plays a very vibrant brand of football. Plus German discipline and all that. By that logic wouldn't it be better to loan him out to a German club that would play him more? With the looks of signing Bernard, Eriksen and De Bruyne it would seem like a terrible career move for him no? It would do him the world of good to go to a place where he isn't an immediate starter though. The problem with Barça B this season, for example, is that he's so much above everybody else in the squad and league, than he can easily indulge in the weaknesses of his game without feeling threatened. How about Porto? With Rodriguez leaving? If he's doing that well, as Porto you would definitely want to have a look at him. Problem is probably that a team like Porto would want a future buy possibility as it seems pointless to help develop a player and possibly get nothing in return.

It's dreamy but I like the prospect of Neymar & Messi v Suarez & CRonaldo. 3 of the worlds best and a Brazilian who hopefully can be as good as the others if not better than the portuguese and uruguayan one. Is Neymar a t***? There's a beautiful symmetry to the whole thing if he's an alright lad. On the field he is, but nothing like Suarez. More that he loves to humiliate the opposition and dive a fair bit. However, he's an extremely humble guy off the pitch if you only listen to him and don't look at him and his cuntish hairstyle. He's very mature for his age off the pitch and comes across as a genuine guy in interviews. As I said though, on the pitch he can be an extreme c*** but never in a malicious way like Suarez biting I'm always enlightened to hear every single Brazilian footballer/person is such a pillar of society and all-round good egg, keep the descriptions coming. Yeah, because that is exactly the way I've described players like Deco, Ronaldinho, Adriano (the fat one), Luis Fabiano, Dani Alves, Marcelo, Pepe and many others. And also what society do you live in if players that come across as cunts in their professional life are considered pillar of society? Well done IP. Shame on you.

That kit is pretty nice, but without the sponsors. Looks absolutely horrible with the sponsor as its below the badge/emblem/logo or w/e it's called. http://media-cdn.incondicionais.com.br/media/reportero/108/5/1/6/3/n_20130510163527_coritiba_apresenta_camisa_com_o_novo_patrocinio_da_caixa_economica.jpg

Napoli is a shithole, pretty sure he'd rather have managed us. That is true, but there are plenty of truly amazing places to live near Napoli. Possibly, but it's seriously one of the biggest shit hole I've been too.

I'd have him. But I can see Mourinho try to offload Torres instead.

I really think Dortmund will come back stronger. According to Bild they have agreed fees for Bernard and De Bruyne for around 22m euros and still negotiating for Eriksen so if all 3 come to pass. That is basically De Bruyne, Bernard and Eriksen for Gotze. If they sold Lewandowski this summer he would go for around 30m i would think, considering how Dortmund do business they could easily buy a top quality replacement with money left over for depth in certain areas like DM and LB. Don't think they'lll be better next year already, but they're certainly doing the right kind of deals at the moment. Bringing in De Bruyne, Eriksen and Bernard would have them done at their three AMs/wingers position. Reus, Bernard, De Bruyne, Eriksson, Kuba and Grosskreutz. Is there a more interesting combination of players than those? All are speedy, technically excellent and all of them can score goals and create. You take Lewandowski out and get two good young strikers and you might be better off as you won't have to rely on Lewandowski since Schieber isn't exactly the best striker.

I don't even want to know what he and his buddy Dani Alves (who he said persuaded him to join Barca) will do at a spanish hairdresser.

More tickets are sold for the Tahiti - Nigeria game than Uruguay - Tahiti and almost as many as Uruguay - Nigeria for the confederations cup. They say 75% of all tickets have been sold in total, but I don't get those numbers to add up at all. More like 50%. 9k tickets sold for Tahiti - Uruguay in a stadium that fits 46k...Hope they give out free tickets or something if it stays like that...

It's just a step in the right direction considering they won't make any drastic changes. I don't disagree with you at all otherwise.
-
Sorry jotenko. But how did you guys not win the Portuguese Cup man?
-
Why? It's a step in the right direction imo. It devalues the competition even further. The UEFA Cup used to be a prestigious competition that teams were desperate to win and often had line-ups that were as strong or stronger than the European Cup. But the expansion of the CL, the ridiculous changes to the format and the tacky rebranding have all contributed to making it a naffer competition than it was. Then you take into account the lack of prize money in the modern game and you're left with a shell of a competition. They'd be better off improving the actual competition (less bloated format, spread the CL money out) but instead they've tacked on the prize of playing in the real competition that UEFA cares about. They've basically admitted its rubbish rather than trying to fix it, and stuck on an incentive as an easy fix. When WINNING A TROPHY needs an incentive of playing in another competition to make it worthwhile surely that should tell them that they've f***ed it up completely somewhere along the way. TBF before the rebranding UEFA was still a pretty shit cup, the rules have been the same for a long long time except it's not knockout phase anymore. I do agree with your sentiment, but it was still the same problem with the UEFA Cup and I think it's an extra incentive to teams, so in my opinion it's a step in the right direction. It's either this with knockout phase or give it up completely.

No way, I dislike Pardew beyond what's reasonable, but Souness destroyed us. Give it time

Huh? I actually had no idea he had been called up man.
-
Hoping La Liga has a good of an end to their season next week as Bundesliga had. (well at the bottom obviously)
-
Ah there we go, just in case he becomes great and Brazil wants to call him up. Explains it all.
-
Completely missed that. Holland must really have some bad CB for van Gaal to have called up a Brazilian

Not yet confirmed, but aye, looks that way. I haven't even heard of them. Seems like a truly terrible career move for him. A high profile move to one of the big leagues and one season of proving himself at that level would have probably meant going to the WC as well in his home country. Can't see Van Gaal checking him out regularly in f***ing Russia. Eh he would never have gone to the WC man. What you on about? Might as well and try to get as much money as possible in. Thought the Van Gaal reference made it pretty clear tbh. You did, but you guys do realize van Gaal has a history of hating Brazilians don't you? He detests Brazilians, how would he ever call up a Brazilian to his national side?
