    Hatem Ben Arfa

I don't even notice it anymore tbh, as i use my blackberry for this site most of the time.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

I try not to think about Ben Arfa much because it just makes me depressed! So annoying we can't see him play!
  3. And remember, we were about on par with Liverpool the season before Souness. They let Houllier go at the right time, appointed Benitez and won the Champions League. We held onto Bobby a bit too long, sacked him at the worst possible time, and made the worst possible replacement.
  4. Agree with most of this, although I dont think he was a decent bloke. He seemed like a bully and a cunt to me. I fuckin hate him! It was so frustrating how far we fell in 18 months. I think everyone could see what was happening as he made us worse and worse, month by month. I never wanted him, was calling for his head after about 3 months, but the pain of his reign was dragged out for well over a year. The week we were destroyed by Lisbon and Man United was one of the most depressing I can remember supporting Newcastle.
  5. Don't care about the mackem game, but chuffed Berwick have drawn Celtic in the cup!!!!
  6. Its depressing when you turn up at an away ground and realise you're sitting next to, or close to an absolute wanker. I remember West Brom last season for the first game. I was next to this absolute prick (ginger hair, glasses, about 40-45) who was just there to shout abuse at everyone and everything. I know we had been relegated, but theres a time and a fuckin place. I had no idea why he was even there 'supporting' the team the way he was going on. To top it off, despite all the abuse he was giving the players, the team, Ashley, the club, and other fans, he was standing in the yellow away top. Ive seen him at a few away games since, but hope im never near him again. Cunt!
  7. Did you actually watch the game? yes i did. don't like what my opinion is then? I think you were spot on to be fair. To add to that, I thought Guthrie was awful. Not really his fault considering the position he was playing, but a totally wasted player. Smith and Nolan were terrible. As a centre midfield partnership, that just isnt good enough for the Prem as the man alongside Nolan really needs to do alot of the work he can't do, and Smith just can't do that. Enrique had a poor game too and was giving the ball away too much. He's had a good season though so im not too worried. Other than Smith though, I thought Williamson was probably our worst player. The second was offside, but he should have been out and back into line alot quicker than he was trying to do. He wasnt great on the 3rd goal either. Obviously there were terrible mistakes for at least 3 of the goals, but it was our all round play most worrying. We desperatly missed Barton and Tiote. Without them we went from looking like a decent midtable team, to a team who look relegation fodder. I would be worried if these were injured long term. Its ashame we were without 3 players who would usually start in our midfield. (Barton, Tiote, Ben Arfa).
  8. He shouldn't be playing. He should be protected for the game at Bolton on Saturday. Fuck England!
  9. This is worrying in my opinion. If he's got an injury, even if its just a strain, we should be calling him back. Hughton needs some balls here.
  10. Hope his confidence is fine for Fulham. He should learn from that mistake last night. He wasn't as effective after the booking and we lost a bit of our bite once both CMs were booked.

Spread the word! ha. Don't know how many people need to be talking about it to get it trending though.

  13. To be fair, I was more talking about Lampard having a word in his ear, telling him Chelsea is the place to be etc. My worry wasn't thinking about Rooney whisking Andy away to Soho for some prossy, or John Terry introducing him to his dad to sell him some coke.
  14. Ian W. Would you rather him risk injury in the League Cup or for England? If someone wants to protect our players and not play them in cups, I don't understand why they would want them to player internationals.
  15. Getting a bit worried by all this England talk. The attention England players get in the media, and the way they try and destroy England is a disgrace. Plus the risk of injury. Hope the people who are delighted he might be getting an England call-up arnt the same fans who wanted us to play a shite team in the cup.
  16. They're hardly going to show us knocking the ball about midfield mind. Our parts of the game that were impressive werent worthy of highlights tbh.
  17. Haven't seen any pictures but I remember Jose pushing him in the chest. Same, and then the whole ground singing Jose, Jose, Jose, Jose... Forgot about it until tonight.
  18. Anyone seen a picture of Jose starting on Cattermole? Im sure that happened!
