I watched the Dabizas game in the mackem end and ended up going to mackem pubs with my mackem mate after it. Isnt bad as long as you keep your mouth shut. People were too wound up in the game to take any notice of me, and when Newcastle scored I just stood up like a few other and watched Dabizas run along the fans. I shook my head to make it look like I was gutted. ha Ill be watching it in The Harrow in Tweedmouth tomorrow. The odd mackem will be there so it should be a decent atmosphere.

WHAT!! He played very well at hartlepool and then got injured at Carlisle! He certainly did get injured. He still played a substantial part of the match though. I'm not trying to wind anybody up here, just passing judgement. EDIT: I wasn't at the Hartlepool game but I thought I read he was at best average against a weak side... Not really something I would argue though, I wasn't there. However, he was the worst player on the pitch at Brunton Park. No he wasnt. Dyer wasnt even moving and didnt look interested in the slightest.

I don't think Wenger should be the one talking about this. Packing his team with 100% foreigners and Arsenal charging people £60 a game is hardly helping.

We are putting together a new team. Some of the players tonight have hardly played 3 games for us. We will get better as games go on. From what FiveLive were saying, Taylor, Enrique, Given and Rozenhal all had good games and we were holding out against constant pressure for 80 mins. In my opinion our problem is in the centre of midfield where we are struggling to control games. Hopefully this will change when Barton is fit, but we have time to sort it. Sam will improve the areas which need improved in the next transfer window. We need time for players to settle and for our team to gel, as well as learning what a new manager expects. No need for the over reactions. We have time on our hands and our league start has been fairly decent. We were in for a hiding to nothing tonight playing Arsenal. They may have made alot of changes but they didnt that last year, won at Anfield and went on to make the final.

The ball hasnt been up that end much though. Can't really blame him. On the counter attack though he can always create a chance for himself. Good player to have on in a game like this.

Are all Berwick Rangers fans just like you then? I would suggest fans of most lower league fans in Scotland hold the same opinion. Only last month travelling back from Ayr there were two idiots from the Rangers game singing their s**** about Catholics. One screaming 'Big Jock Knew' into a 10 year olds face, just because he had a Celtic hat on was his 'highlight'. They cleared the half the train! There s**** happening like this every time ive travelled through Glasgow after a game involving the Old Firm. Motherwell are next worse in my opinion. I don't doubt there's plenty of idiots follow both the OF clubs. Not that they're alone there either like. Your post implied that you thought most fans of both are scum - your choice of phrase and the sweeping generalisation was a bit ironic really. Hardly taking the high ground was it? On the original question though, it would be Celtic for me. Quite a lot of my extended family were fans when I was a kid and the first school team I played for wore green and white hoops, so I've always had a bit of an affection for them. I like The Fields of Athenry as well. Simple things... Well they both have a larger percentage of scumbags than other clubs. Thats for sure. You only have to hear the terrace songs at old firm games. Everyone singing them is scum. And most of the rest I have no respect for! Duns True Blues, Dumfries Loyal, Elgin CSC. They all make me sick the glory hunting bastards!

This has to be a joke!!! All the stewards at Ibrox do is pick on away fans when people in the home end standing right next to them are aloud to shout and scream their bigotted filth! Taking them to away games is hardly going to stop the bigots!

Can I just say first of all congrats to Rangers for a greta win last night and putting a bit og oomph back into the Scottish European capmpaign that I doubt Aberdeen will emulate tonight. I don't really see anything wrong with swearing in stadiums, as long as its not people just going on tirades of abuse and swearing for swearings sake. Other than that, its fine. All the shite about 'kids around', is just that, shite. Go to any football ground where you can choose where you sit and you will always find kids stand or sit around where the atmosphere is and where the majority of the swearing comes from. When I was little we used to go to Berwick games and stand in what we called 'the swearing stand'. because the rest of the ground was shit atmosphere. Sorry to hear about your story haza, but it seems typical of Northumbria Police at the moment and they are getting worse at football games. Me thinks they have all been on some special training thing for crowd control or something.

Wouldn't go as far as worst player, but his standard is pretty low. When he leaves here I think he will quickly sink down the leagues. There are better players here in the Scottish lower leagues than Pattison
