Playing Perez off Mitrovic working well, who'd of thought it , and great individual skill from the former to take his goal. How do transformations like this even happen? If by Christmas we aren't playing anything resembling decent football then feel free consider it. For my part I won't ever hate a manager anywhere close to Pardew, only Allardyce comes close. I must admit I am pretty disgusted with him. We all knew his failings at leading the line but he used to have some desire which compensated for a lot. And then the stories that came out of Africa about how he used to drive an ambulance (or similar?) and you got the impression he was a diamond of a human being. His recent behaviour destroys all that.

Mbemba looks a good player but not the type we needed IMO. Muscled off by that Deeney a couple times. Very comfortable on the ball and seems a good character. You don't think Mbemba is hampered by having an aging Colo (past-it) next to him? Given the right partner he could prove to be one of our best CB's, imo.
