  1. Of course, everyone gets dementia or dies the moment they pass 70
  2. WAT. Koeman has the exact same "constraints" as any incoming head coach would do as did Pochettino did before him, the only difference being as they actually are good coaches so they were able to develop the players they had. This may be foreign to you but not every manager is Redknapp, for example Ancelotti has very little say at Madrid. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2915933/Ronald-Koeman-s-smart-Southampton-signings-help-Saints-fly-says-Jose-Fonte.html Are you suggesting Koeman didn't have a huge influence in many of these signings? How many articles talk about Pardews astute signings, you know Perez, Janmaat ect.. I'm sure Koeman had a say, the new man here is supposed to have a say as well, but he won't make the final decision.
  3. In your opinion the majority of managers/coaches outside of Premier League Football are yes men? I'm not backing Charnley's comments BTW because its just PR and I wouldn't put much stock at all in it. But being prepared to work in a system were you do not have absolute control over everything does not make someone a yes man.

One game played between now and the end of January.

  6. Nah, surely he does more than just record the data, anyone could do that, he must give some kind of evaluation based on that data. I mean no doubt the piece of shit who interprets it (he who must not be named) has a big say in how its used, but I'm sure this bloke did more than just record raw data and pass it on.
  7. Garde's still my first choice, like the sound of everything I've read about him and he could be a real long term solution. As much as Laudrup's a good coach and had Swansea playing nice Football he never stays anywhere for more than a season or two. I'd certainly be happy with him, but not my first choice.
  8. To be fair we're the people currently suffering and being told we're deluded, for not wanting to continue that suffering, by a bunch of ignorant twats. Aye some fans on the internet certainly don't represent every fan of that club. But when all you see are a bunch of clueless opinionated pricks trying to tell you they know better and calling you all sorts based purely on their own vile ignorance its pretty hard not to wish them the same fate they claim we should be happy with.
  9. Pardew would still be here as well.
  10. Heard people claiming West Ham now play better Football and "Big Sam" has adjusted to a new way of playing, not based on today's match so far like, horrendous.

    Sunderland

They've already had the likes of Hull, Everton, Swansea and Stoke at home this season and they've won a grand total of 1 game at home so far (out of 11 games). Defoe's going to have to have a huge impact if they're to start winning enough to stay up easily.

    Sunderland

2 wins in their last 15 and one of those was their obligatory win over us, think Burnley will beat them personally. Still probably get another 3 points off us if Carver is still here though and manage to escape again.

    Sunderland

Sunderland's form is even worse than ours, not a chance they're getting 8 points more than us from the rest of the season. If the Pardew derby curse is broken they may not win another game this season.
  14. At one point be was one of the best I've ever seen at the club. But thats been tarnished somewhat by him wanting to leave and claims that he was one of the senior players behind removing the likes of Ben Arfa from the club. Just from what I've heard he never seems to stand up and be counted (or at least not for the better of the team) despite being the captain. Fair enough some of its only heresay, but its been repeated so often (and to my memory never contradicted in any info I've heard or read) that personally I believe it. At this point I'd be happy if he'd just leave for that Argentine club he wanted to play for in the summer and have nothing more to do with the club. Assuming we actually decide to buy a first team center back..
  15. I would fucking love Pardew to get the England job, see how the rest of the country likes it!

    Remy Cabella

Aye might as well execute the lad, wasn't a world beater this week...
  17. Pardew would undoubtedly drop him for this game, lets see what the clone does.

    John Carver

Remy only played 5 games out of those last 16 though. Betvictor will give you 40/1, don't think there's any chance but its worth a insurance bet I suppose, £50 on and a nice £2,050 if the worst happens

    Sunderland

Well he did, not sure he still will though. Anyone seen him in that mickey mouse league he's been playing in recently?

    Remy Cabella

Aye Julien Laurens talking a lot of sense there, except maybe expecting too much of Carver if he thinks he'll give Cabella a really chance now.
  21. Yanga-Mbiwa has played 17 of the 20 games needed to trigger the transfer and Roma have 4 more games in January.
