  1. Oh poor Alan Pardew, my heart fucking bleeds for him. He's a fraud and knows how lucky he is to have a job, he's going nowhere till he's sacked unfortunately.
  2. Bassong?, suppose he was hardly a youth player, but only 20 so still young.
  3. This isn't even slightly comparable to the Xisco transfer.. Ok, this seasons Nacho Gonzalez. This seasons Romain Amalfitano. Nah you're no better What about this season N'zogbia, here just in time for Kinnear to insult him.
  4. This isn't even slightly comparable to the Xisco transfer.. Ok, this seasons Nacho Gonzalez. You're getting further and further away
  5. This isn't even slightly comparable to the Xisco transfer.
  6. His first piece of advice to Ashley should be "stop letting Pardew manage NUFC as normal".
  7. Souness would be much more respectable in front of the media, but even less capable and more destructive behind the scenes. Its like choosing between a piece of shit and a piece of toxic shit with a bow on it.
  8. His record is there for all to see - poor. Won 5 out of 26 for us and sacked several times in the past for poor results (Doncaster, Forest etc.). He is deluded. He didn't manage 26 games like, he managed 21 games of which 19 were in the league and got 20 points. A shit record, but also much better than the average for that season, we got only 14 points from the 19 he didn't manage. So in short I can't really disagree with his claim that he wasn't the man responsible for our relegation that season, but at the same time he's not nearly good enough to be appointed as anything at Newcastle United.
  9. I'm not even going to turn SSN on..
  10. Absolutely disgusting. Hope Pardew walks its that bad a move. That would be a big silver lining I suppose. Not any more. Disagree.
  11. Absolutely disgusting. Hope Pardew walks its that bad a move. That would be a big silver lining I suppose. But its not going to happen, Pardew isn't bothered who else is there as long as he can keep his job.
  12. When Kinnear was here it appeared he just sent the players out and let them decide what they wanted to do. So I'm not sure how he can oversea a playing style. Unless he just tells everyone to ignore Pardew.
  13. This prospect is enough to turn me into a fully fledged Pardew In-er. Really?, Pardews team selections and tactics are worse than anything I saw from Kinnear. Granted Pardews much less embarrassing and neither should be near the club.
  14. He's a better manager than Pardew IMO, total shit talking baffoon though and utterly pointless as a director of Football. They really can't be serious here like
  15. I've always liked Cabaye as a player and I don't blame him entirely for his shit form. He's got loads of ability, I'm just saying he hasn't got the kind of character to be a captain. I don't think it's really relevant which clubs have been sniffing around each player. Coloccini was openly saying he wanted to leave at the time, yet on the pitch he was a captain through and through, I'm not really trying to have a good at Cabaye, but I honestly find myself quite unmoved by the prospect of him leaving. I'm sure I'll got accused of the same old ridiculous Ashley simpethysing bullshit as ever But just watch me go fucking nuclear if we sell Ben Arfa..
  16. Used in the right position and on his game he can be a class act. Used in the way Pardews been employing him he's useless, also he's quite rash and so far from a captain it's ridiculous. People may say ''I can't blame him for wanting out and so having no passion for the captaincy'', complete and utter bollocks to the honest. Look at Coloccini, he wanted out but when he came back from injury his passion was visible from his first game back. He was arguably one of the main reasons we stayed up, whether he stays or leaves you can't ever question his character. Cabaye's a good player, not someone I want to see go, but not someone I'll ever shed a tear over. If we're getting silly money then so be it, lets see who they bring in.
  17. I suppose a full year is just form eh? Yes yes we all know Alan Pardew made him play s*** and fluff easy chances. Is the rest of his career just luck? He's not been that great in top flight football. Not as good as Torres or bent. 65 goals in 138 games, what am I missing here? 28 and had 1.5 good top flight seasons in his career. Why he played so few games in the top flight until the last few seasons I have no idea (late bloomer I suppose) but the fact is his goals to game ratio has been good to excellent since then and that ratio also follows to his international career. International - goal every 1.91 games 2009-2010 - goal every 2.66 games 2010-2011 - goal every 1.41 games 2011-2012 - goal every 1.4 games 2012-2013 - goal every 3.6 games So one bad season out of the last 4 as far as goals to games and at least 2 excellent seasons overall (you seem to be ignoring the first half of 2011-2012 before he came here with that 1.5 seasons comment). Which one looks the odd one out? Also as bad as his record was last season it was still better than Bent's.

  19. Is this bloke on crack or what? As if Lyon would have allowed Ben Arfa to go for £500k in 2006-2007.. Can also see why he's an ex scout with his opinion of players
  20. We don't make enough revenue that's the problem. For some reason it's drastically reduced. Revenue isn't the be all end all of financial info though. For instance if we still did our own catering our revenue would be quite a bit higher, but that doesn't mean we'd be making more money after costs are taken into consideration (likely the opposite is true considering we decided to outsource it).
  21. God you talk utter bollocks, like I said no interest in talking to you considering you can't or won't bother to grasp a very simple idea that everyone else is capable of understanding. Welcome to my ignore list, population you.
  22. As much as you're keen to mock others (EVERYONE WHO EXPRESSES A NEGATIVE OPINION IS SLITTING THEIR WRISTS LOL LOL LOL), this idea that Carroll can only play in an exclusively long ball team is just as mock-able. We weren't that long ball under Hughton and Carroll's hold-up play was phenomenal. Do you think we hoofed the ball to the 5-1 win over the mackems? That was one of the best all-round performances I've seen from an NUFC centre forward, despite not scoring a goal. At his best he allowed us to mix it up, short and long, because his attributes made him an excellent spearhead for our attack. If there's faith we could get him back to that sort of form then the decision to get him back here would be a total no-brainer. What idea that Carroll can only play an in an exclusively long ball team?, I wasn't claiming that and have never claimed that. There were suggestions here that if we bring in Carroll that would help us be successful in the way Pardew wants us to play (long ball) because of his height/ability in the air. I was saying I don't want to do anything to prolong his management if he can't adapt his style away from hoofball. In fact what you've just agreed with below from Colo's Short and Curlies is basically the same point I was making. I've said many times before that under a different manager I'd take Carroll back for the right price. But under Pardew I don't want him anywhere near the squad because I can see how he'll be used. I don't think everyone who expresses a negative opinion is slitting their wrists either, just a silly exaggeration that like. I express negative opinions sometimes like anyone else. What I can't stand is when every single thing is being turned into a negative. I'm saying Carroll could do a job for any manager if on form, which makes your original post pointless at best. It wouldn't be buying a player for Pardew's style, it would simply be buying a good player that could also play for another manager if Pardew were to leave. Man you're still somehow missing my point. I already said Carroll can play in different systems and can do a job. I even said in the post you're responding too that I'd take Carroll back under a different manager, yet your response suggests you didn't even read that.. Its not about Carroll, its about Pardew, how he'll play Carroll and how that will help him to keep his job without having to adapt to any kind of decent Football. I really don't know how I can make this any more clear than I have been. So your point is that we shouldn't buy him yet because we'll do well and keep Pardew in a job? Apologies for not comprehending such a bizarre point of view. Again you're oversimplifying to devalue my argument, its not worth my time discussing this with you.

Apologies for not comprehending such a bizarre point of view. It's not that bizarre, Carroll might improve results because he'd suit Pardew's gameplan more, but it's still a shit gameplan which means you will more than likely aim for top 8 at best. Yeah I mean obviously I don't want us to be unsuccessful to get Pardew sacked. I'd love it if we were successful next season even under Pardew as long as that comes from him changing his Football philosophy. What I don't want is to see us signing players that will help him continue with the shit anti Football he's been getting us to play.
