No idea but unless he's a inanimate object I still prefer the first side.

We don't have a better first team. We'll see won't we. I think: Krul Simpson Coloccini Williamson New LB Gutierrez Cabaye Tiote Marveaux Ben Arfa Ba Is better than: Krul Simpson Coloccini Williamson Enrique Barton Nolan Tiote Gutierrez Ameobi Lovenkrands
-
Right so we have a better first team than last season when we finished 12th but we're really risking relegation this time out because we have worse backup than last season?.. except we don't.
-
How do we have less chance of coping with injuries this season compared to last then when we've brought in 4 players so far and have lost 3 if you include Barton and Enrique?
-
If he's planning on being here for the next 20 years that plan might just work.

I was actually in the thinking that he may be trying to model us on Arsenal who clearly are the only PL club to turn a profit, that's what thinking does for you eh He's a business man. He sees success as his company making a profit I think he's clever enough to realise that he'll never make a personal profit from NUFC though, he's just trying to limit the amount he has to spend on us. And in so doing, he has already cost himself a shedload of cash by overseeing a relegation. As things stand, he risks doing the same again. Krul Simpson Coloccini Williamson New LB Gutierrez Cabaye Tiote Marveaux Ben Arfa Ba Yeah definitely looks relegation threatened..

With Ashley, I think this is exactly the case. So its your reasoned opinion that we didn't offer Barton any new contract at all and that was because Ashley doesn't like him as a person? Pardew: "Barton wants a new deal, only got one year left" Ashley "Nah I hate him" Pardew "Why he's done nothing to you, and he's played well, and he's willing to take a big pay cut, we don't want him to leave for free" Ashley "No I hate him, instead we'll antagonise him into leaving for nothing, I don't really like money anyway" Regardless of your over-exaggeration, with Ashley's past proven logic and decision-making ability is this really so hard to imagine? It is yes, its about as believable as Willie Mckay.

Who are you talking about? Who's putting all the blame on any of those players? Don't you think its a bit f***ing childish not to see that some people just don't put the blame entirely on one party? That maybe just BOTH parties are to blame in different ways. It's the culture of this forum to bandwagon-jump and knee-jerk to every minute detail rather than to look at the bigger picture. Those that do are ridiculed. Barton's been an idiot, but Ashley is so bad it looks like he's actually trying to destroy the club and turn it into another vehicle to funnel cash out of in the long run or sell it. I'm not saying Barton's not to fault in this, and I agree both are to blame - to varying degrees - for the eventual conclusion today. 21st May - Pardew wanted Barton to stay: Why does a manager that wants a player to stay, allow him to carry on like he does/did on twitter? Ashley/Llambias are very clever and wanted him out and I believe Barton's reasoning of wanting a 'Younger, better, cheaper player' are true. Pardew would have been told to not discipline/advise him on this. Barton would have been worthy of any 60k/week contract in the country if you compare to him other players on a similar sort of salary. McKay wants Barton to move on so he can get a final payday out of the player and Ashley just wants him off the books because I think he doesn't think he can sell him. At the end of the day, Barton should have had a contract worthy of his talent that we all know he has. The offer he got must have been absolutely derisory and comparatively exploitative of the position that Ashley feels Barton has got no credence with other clubs. Barton went loopy and now is off on a free. Claiming that people are putting all the blame on those players isn't a minute detail, its a reccuring, ignorant and extremely annoying assertion on this forum that I'm pretty fucking tired of reading. Like I said I agree that Ashley ect probably wanted Barton out because of his age, character and wages. But I do not agree that we must have offered him a terrible contract or that Barton is worthy of any £60k contract we could offer. This is the kind of thinking that fucked us financially in the first place, which led to us ending up in the hands of Ashley. Barton is absolutely NOT worth £60k a week, and certainly not on a long term deal that would take him into his early 30's. The bloke was unlikely to be first choice this season.

So we're getting £2m and weakening another Premier League side? Awesome

He's a total cock end

How do you know he wasn't offered a new contract? After 22 years of following English football, in this day and age I'd take the player's word of our owners any day of the week. Did Barton ever claim he was never offered a contract? Willie McKay: Willie Mckay?, he's f***ing worse than Ashley!! Also he doesn't say Barton has never been offered a contract. They could have already offered him a deal, he rejected it and they told him he wouldn't be offered anything more. Why on earth would they not offer him any kind of contract?, that makes no sense. Sorry I hadn't realised Willie McKay was proven in court to deliberately mislead fans/customers and to lie openly. Please point me to where it shows McKay is less honest than this. And Mackay isn't the one ruining Newcastle United. And why do you think Barton's gone absolutely loopy since this. Cause it doesn't make any sense and the people running this club don't have one iota how to run a club. No mate, it doesn't make any sense meaning its just not the case. Tell me how it helps Ashley to lose a player for free if he's willing to sign for a reasonable contract? He just personally hated Barton yeah?, before any of this twitter stuff even started? The much more believable situation is that Barton was offered a deal and didn't accept it. The club, rightly or wrongly, then said he wouldn't be offered anything more.

As an agent its Willie McKay's job to say whatever is neccesary to get him and his agent as much money as possible. He's also been arrested, investigated and banned by FIFA before. He's certainly not the person to build any kind of argument around.

You're trying to take the high ground after that post? Man there's no logical argument against pig ignorant nonesense.

I wouldn't take either of there words. It should be obvious however that the club wouldn't want to lose a good player if he was willing to take a significant pay cut. Did Barton ever claim he was never offered a contract BTW?

Apart from Ashley being a cockney chancer that is one massive pile of s***. So you think that Southerners know Fuck all about the game? You really are a Fucking Prick! Just about the entire post was moronic, and we've got people on here who are long time members clapping and giving thumbs up to that shit

Wot's ee sayin'? I dont believe what i'm hearing, Barton didn't like the fact he wasn't allowed to take free kicks and set pieces agaisnt Leeds and thats what set him off Sunday. What a plum. Listen to it later, if they put it up, its bizarre to use as an excuse. Who said that like?

But but I thought Joey loved this club and would rather cut his own legs off than have to leave? This must be the most brutal punishment imaginable for the little pet lamb!

Scraping the barrell here like arent we? Theres not gurantee's we'll sign Barnetta and even so, Barnetta simply isnt as good as Barton, nor will he such an integral part of the team as Barton is/was. He wouldn't be in my starting 11.
