Not quite the best team they could have put out, but still light years ahead of what we've got available. You never know though
-
Because he's 30 and not the player he used to be, he's hardly too big for us like
-
Are you joking?

Is there anywhere on the net that has last seasons table at different times of the year?
-
Hull have 2 points from there last 10 games, if they lose to Fulham tomorrow that'll be 2 from 11. We better fucking not lose against them!
-
this is what i don't get - what do you think we're looking at on our current form, out of interest? Well, it puts us above all three of those teams at the end of the season.

Manure win

Bentley

Not that amazing considering they've got a fully fit side and Manure have rested a lot of their better players.

I hope so! Also hope Ronaldo, Tevez, Nani, Ferdinand, Vidic and a few others (and the entire Spuds side) break their legs. ... they'd probably still beat us even on crutches. Nah, they wouldn't

This is the real problem at the moment, not the fact that the team is shit. When we have these ugly, winner takes all battles against Hull, Pompey and Boro it will come down to character and commitment. And I'm worried they will want it more. When the pressure is on, these guys fold. They didn't fold against Bolton, they never opened in the first place. Due to the shocking shit we have in the team. If we're still as shit with everyone fit THEN it'll come down to who wants it more and we'd be in big trouble.

Ridiculous, someone up there hates us.

To be fair to Lovenkrands he shouldn't have been playing in that position in the first place, he offers nothing there.
-
I thought Geremi was significantly better then Butt when he came on.

He has got things in his locker and ocassionally he does very good things, but most of the time as one of our main offensive outlets he runs down blind alleys or overhits the cross. I will say though it normally takes a season or so to aclimatise to the PL. But in all reality I'm a little dissapointed in him. Maybe he needs to practice shooting and medium passing more...I don't know... He definitely needs something to be done about his shooting, he just seems to have no confidence in it. But I also think what would help him a lot is having players around him who offer him some support, from midfield/up front rather then just from left back.

Sorry mate, mines been out for about 2 months. Of course it's probably not fair to judge surrounded by dross as he is. But, he seems to lack some basiscs ie crossing, shooting and passing. Relevant or not? His crossing was shit today and hasn't been good lately, its never been that good but its definitely taken a dip. His passing isn't great either, but again isn't anywhere near as bad as today made it look IMO. I'd say he's a quick player with a lot of drive and trickery but with pretty average crossing and passing, and no shooting ability at all. He's had a bad spell, but at his best he's a good player and one of our best. Simply because even when he doesn't produce much end product he pushes teams back and creates space for other players, he also tracks back very well. I have been disapointed with him lately, but I'm not going to get on his back yet.

He hasn't played very well for a few games, but I still I agree completely. No doubt if he has a few good games soon this thread will be re-renamed.. fickle cunts.

Didn't take too long for the knives to come out

Teams below us not getting any consistent points, players like Beye, Barton, Guthrie, Owen and Martins (wasn't fit today) coming back to fitness. You mean just like the last time we barely got a point in a 5 week period, starting it 2 points above the relegation zone and ending it still above the relegation zone by 1 point. Boro won't get fluke results every week, Blackburn won't play Hull every week. Its been a bad week for us, with us not getting points and teams below us getting a rare result, but that's not going to happen often.

You talking about fat Fred and the Hall's? They didn't pretend the club was broke, they actually made it that way. Just a little correction for you there.
-
Of course he has a chance, you always have a chance in court if you've got a good lawyer, no matter how ridiculous your claim is.

Berbatov also wanted out... Bellamy wanted out, Man City knew that as well, yet West Ham robbed them blind, £15 million for that old waster.
