  1. Only £38,000 per week actually Incredible deal if true when you consider we signed the likes of Emre, Duff and Smith and gave them £60,000 per week each..
  2. Not at all, if we make him feel wanted enough we have a chance, I doubt he'll be a first team player at Arsenal.
  3. I would say we could if we put the effort in and moved quickly. Especially if Everton are waiting for the Johnson money to get a new bid in for Moutinho.
  4. Yet again an article where the title and 'journalists' words have no correlation to the quotes.
  5. Ok I must just be mental then. Just thought I remembered you questioning why Coloccini would ever join a club like ours.
  6. Bet you'd love that to be true. ..and why's that then? More scope for whining and complaining.
  7. Dismay and worry for manic depressives and the simple minded alike. For normal people its just a bit of a shitty pre-season that will get back on track in the next game when most of the first team are back.. Why do some people on this forum seem to take pleasure in wallowing in self pity? To the point where they'll see the negative in everything and exaggerate every situation to make it seem as bad as possible?, I just find it rather pathetic.
  8. I thought you'd said your piece already?, thought you were off?

    Kieron Dyer

I've said he'd miss games through injury here, but even in the 20 games he'd play a season he would still offer more than Milner, Geremi or that w***** Smith who was brought in to replace him. It'll be good business when I see a better player in his place but until then I won't be jumping for joy. I agree he offered much more then many people give him credit for when fit, but his injury record was shocking and is now even more shocking, which is why I think we did well to sell him. Of course I also agree that we should have replaced him, instead of buying shit like Smith.
  10. He was asked his opinion as the chairman of the independant Newcastle United supporters association. Which means he's not just speaking for himself but for a group of Newcastle United fans. Problem is there is no f***ing association!
  11. you're not allowed to say that. He's the knight in shining armour and no way will he bugger off with the money like the last lot, including all the increased sky money that hasn't been invested in transfers etc. He's even got the gall to wack the amount owed for the stadium expansion that he paid off, that we all thought was a Xmas present, onto the asking price. What asking price? Is this official, has it been in the classified ads in the Chronicle? What a clown you are, man. I'm a clown am I mackems.gif Believe whatever suits you Wullie lad, believe whatever suits you ........... You think Ashley will turn down an offer to get his money back and make a decent profit on what he's shelled out ? He's been setting up the club for a potential sale IMO. Get a life. He's bought the club so he can spend over a year setting it up to get his money back, or maybe a small profit?.. your a f***ing idiot! Well, I think you're a f***ing idiot too mate if you think that the prospect of making a quick killing or 10 or 20 million quid for a years work would be out of the question. Especially if he bought the club without paying due diligence and also has not liked the world of football as much as he thought he might. But again, if you are the same guy who harped on about bloody Luque for ages .........I already knew. £10 or £20 million profit on an investment of £230 million a killing?! Its a complete waste of time and money for a man of his means, he could make more by leaving it in the bank for fuck sake! I agree with everyone else, your a f***ing clown..
  12. no, I don't think that is the case at all. Like Mark Jensen, people from the press ring him because they know he's a fan of the club, they have his details and they know he makes himself available for this sort of comment. A bit like when a couple of people associated with this site were involved in discussions with Mort - but thats different I suppose ? If you look at his comment, he is saying that he thinks and he's entitled to his opinion, which I agree with as it happens. Of course its the case, you saying he doesn't claim to be the chairman of the Newcastle United Independent Supporters’ Association?.. I suppose the papers make that up and he just doesn't correct them the next time he spouts his simple minded drivel?

He could make a decent profit with no effort by putting the same money in a low risk investment.
  14. Only the EPL clubs as it the richest league & has the most exposure. Libya has a stake in Juventus though. surprised they've not targetted the Spanish league. Although the Barca ownership situation means one of the crown jewels isn't up for grabs. A English lad has just beaten Fred Shepherd to purchasing Real Magaulf yeah I read about that. Although my original point was more about the "real" moneymen (Abramovic, Lerner, Glazer, Thaksin etc etc etc) To be honest Lerner, Glazer and Shiniwatra are pretty small fry as far as real money men go..

For fuck sake baggio, the way you go on you'd think Dyer only started being injury prone when he went to West Ham.. Of course he wouldn't have had exactly the same problems here, he'd have had different problems, the lads a fucking mess! As much as I liked him as a player (and I can still see his flaws as a player despite that) it was fantastic business to get what we did for him, West Ham got well and truly ripped off.
  16. £260 million.. they don't even have the brains to make it sound at least semi believable, but then this is the News of the World, basically a collection of rather poorly written fables As if Ashley's going to be interested in selling up for a profit of £30 million..
  17. What an absolutely stupid story that is

    F*ck Spurs

Who said that about Dos Santos?, who actually gave a shit about Dos Santos?..
  19. You mean plenty of wierdo's with questionable sexuality?
  20. What a ray of light you are...

    F*ck Spurs

How can that be?, they've already signed Arshavin, as well as Pavlyuchenko.. oh wait, no they haven't its just that everyone just keeps acting as if they have.. I just saw Martin Jol rambling on about how Spurs sign such big players these days and quoting "Modric, Arshavin and Pavlyuchenko" as three examples
