  1. Shut up John Hall, shut the fuck up man. If a new owner isn't bleeding money out of the club like you and Freddy Shepherd did from dividends or running it into the ground like the current piece of shit owner there'll already be resources, the club brings in its own resources.
  2. This cunt has lived for 4 hours and 44 minutes this year, fuck 2019.
  3. Which is why we got relegated. Jannmaat was decent early on but when things got really difficult later that season his attacking outlet consisted of blindly floating balls into the box.
  4. Yedlin's so strong he's pulled this poor lads arm off FFS!
  5. You can never spend enough to guarantee that you'll win it every single year (even back in the Chelsea/Man City early days you couldn't do that). But you can spend enough to make winning the title inevitable at some point. Its still buying the title and we'd only have to very loosely comply with FFP. In a situation like Man City's I'd be surprised if we didn't have a revenue of around £450m-£500m within a year.
  6. You can tell yourself that like but you must know you're lying to yourself There was never any chance of it not working, whether it was Man City or here. They've continually throw more and more money at the situation until in the end it had to work, success was 100% inevitable.
  7. Any new owner with the slightest idea and ambition would have this club hitting £200m+ revenue per year quite quickly and £250m+ within a few years.
  8. McBride was good. As was Landon Donovan for the brief time he was here. Claudio Reyna’s time was cut short by injuries but he clearly had what it took to play in the PL. Same with Stu Holden. Geoff Cameron was a competent defender for Stoke for a few years. I’ll go to the grave defending Yedlin as a PL-quality fullback. There really haven’t been a ton of players to make the jump from MLS tbh Thing is they were ok the names being mentioned but not a massive success which when your paying the reported 24 - 30 million for is what would be required Only for Newcastle, if we are being honest, though. This club's competitors are spending 20+ million on reserves and young players. Leicester spent 75% of Newcastle's transfer record for a 25 year old that would exclusively be their reserve keeper. Not sure any clubs that are our direct competitors are spending £20m+ on reserves like. But I do agree that £25m doesn't equal instant great in todays market, nowhere near. I mean when you think about it we spent 75% of our transfer record on a reserve as well (Murphey). You've got to start at £20m+ these days just to get a good player (unless you strike gold like for someone like Fernandez of course).
  9. Was just wanting to know exactly what was said. Seen it now like.
  10. Talk of £22m being the fee, coming from another Journalist/presenter over there. EDIT: Actually he's said the deal will make Almiron the most expensive Paraguayan Footballer in history. Which means at least £22m apparently.
  11. The guy who's said this is a pretty well respected sports presenter in Almiron's home country isn't he?
  12. I'm just clinging to the hope that he knows we're now at the most attractive we'll ever be under him (Rafa and Premier League), if he doesn't sell now, we lose both of those and bang goes his last chance of getting anywhere near what he wants for us. Pretty sure I thought similar this time last year Rafa is gone if Ashley is still here at the end of the season. I think the two of them both know they see the club as different entities in terms of what it is and what it could be. If Rafa goes, for Ashley to want to carry on his shite of spending minimally to get PL safety, he'd need to spend significantly on the playing staff as the twat brought in as manager will be some clueless cunt. If that happens, relegation will surely happen and no PL and no Rafa would equal a major drop in both value of the club and advertising for his horrid company. I think right now would be the time to sell in terms of maximising profit for the club, but you can never second guess that wanker. Also if we go down next season who would Ashley be able to cash in on to minimise his losses? Last couple of times he was able to sell big names to fund spending for promotion and still minimise losses. Couldn't do the same this time because we've got nobody that would be in demand.
  13. Purely based on Youtube scouting, he seems to have a bit of Ben Arfa about him.

    Transfer rumours

Yeah, would hate it if we signed Neymar :| Yep, absolute cunt and everything that's wrong with the game.
  15. Or how about pay for those player upgrades with the money we bring in and it won't actually cost new owners anything. Especially if a new owner makes an effort to increase revenues, rather than siphoning it off like the fat cunt does.
  16. Not really. He got the whole shebang for 90m which is less than even the stock on hand is worth. He can't lose in this deal. Less than the stock at full retail price aye, but he'll never get that for it. Also with the company continuing to make losses he'll be more than £90m in now.
