If money was everything the likes of Russia and China would have much better leagues.
-
16 games, but only one start and two sub appearances from the last seven matches, and no he isn't that good IMO. But he's still better than Townsend.
-
Well to be fair he isn't even getting a game for Swansea. Tottenham might be prepared to play hardball with unwanted players but that doesn't mean Swansea will. On the other hand I'm really not sure if Shelvey is the answer to be honest..
-
So its true then 'Pards', you thick cunt
-
Who says we have?
-
Wouldn't say 25m Euro's is that unbelievable really considering what we paid for Wijnaldum. Is that real or are you just guessing Ryder's next move?
-
Still got 6 goals in 15 games so far so still doing ok, just far from the insane numbers he was getting the season before (27 goals in 33 games)
-
I mean, it won't happen, but you could also look at it as sold for 35m, rebought for 18m ... so we're paid 17m for him to develop at undoubtedly far better places in Liverpool and West Ham whilst not being Pardewed. But we'd still be paying for nothing, he'll be injured within a month, completely finished as a Footballer at this point.
-
Can't compete with the likes of Crystal Palace Won't compete you mean. They'll chuck money at him and we'd only offer him what we think is reasonable, despite the fact we're in a position where we have to do whatever it takes to stay up.
-
Aye, looked more like Punch and Judy.
-
More possible we won't tbh. They have 3 points from their last 6 games, we have 7 points from our last 6 games. But we're less likely to pick up points than them? Swansea (a) Spurs (a) Bournemouth (h) Man City (h) Man Utd (h) West Ham (a) Palace (h) They've got Liverpool away in that 7 as well.
-
The moment he gets over the 19 game mark and its time for his second half of the season implosion.
-
Yeah maybe, though probably only if Carroll gets injured soon. So definitely then..
-
Well I can't see him staying at QPR unless he's got absolutely no interest in playing in the Euro's. What London team are going to come in for him?, Palace maybe?
-
I really hope our players consider Man Utd a big side despite how shit they've been. Because if we play like we did today against Man Utd at home we should win.
-
Really not sure about Shelvey, does he really do anything with the ball? Because his stats don't suggest he does, he doesn't get a game for Swansea lately and their fans don't seem to like him either.
-
Its no different to people saying we didn't deserve to win against Bournmouth, were lucky ect. We scored the goal so we deserved to win, Arsenal finished their chance so they deserved to win. Anyway, good performance overall and looked the better team for most of the game. But something has to change with the finishing. Subs should have happened earlier as well, we dipped a bit on around 60 minutes and that's when the likes of Thauvin and De Jong should have come on. Instead those changes only came because we went behind.
-
Would be funny if Merson wasn't such a thick ignorant tosser
-
Still relegation worries or not if we offer him enough cash he'll come.
-
We'll just lose more games and by even bigger margins.
-
Tiote wiping his arse?, Tiote couldn't wipe his own arse. He's completely brainless, and Colback's non existent. They looked like the chuckle brothers against West Brom when Tiote came on for Anita, literally tripping over each other FFS! As someone mentioned earlier, its going to be interesting (painful but interesting) to see the state we're in if Anita isn't fit and we have to field Tiote and Colback together for a few games.
-
Completely went to shit once Anita was injured, but aye let's hope he stays out..
-
But you saw something in Pardew that filled you with optimism? Fuck off man, he filled everyone here with nowt but a feeling of hopelessness so acute that many would've gladly seen the club implode just so it'd all be over with. Our current manager might be shit, but at least I can watch a game and not completely despise him and want us to lose just so he'll fuck off. Its far from enjoyable but its better than seeing that smarmy piece of shit Pardew in the dugout overseeing the most mind numbing soul destroying attempt at Football I've ever witnessed.
-
"Tottenham outcast Andros Townsend will cost Newcastle and Aston Villa £14million" They want £14m from both of us? Seriously though, he isn't worth half that.
-
We've gone a bit more direct recently, as in not always passing it out from the back. But no way are we playing the same style as under Pardew, nowhere near IMO.
