The system will start to fail at some point, it just won't get done, and this forum will get really sloppy. I think we should discuss summer tournaments and other general club stuff + confirmed transfers in this forum, and basically make the other forum a rumors forum with very little admin. Cast these people down with the sodomites.

Fair play to him, he keeps getting in these horrible accidents but it doesn't dampen his style of play. I'd wear a scrum cap for the rest of my career as well if I'd had a serious injury like that. I wonder what kind of damage would have been done if he'd been wearing a scrum cap when it happened.

Bit bizarre, but probably about his level. They'll stop overachieving as soon as he arrives.

I just had to post again. Johannesburg as a footballing hotbed.

Is there really any point in taking this article seriously? Buenos Aires as #1, fair enough, but Cairo and Johanesberg? This is seriously laughable. And why is he coming at it from the point of view that the north east isn't a footballing hotbed? Maybe it isn't in the top 10 in the world, but why do we need an article to prove specifically that the north east of England is in fact not in the top 10 footballing hotbeds, a term so ambiguous he doesn't even bother giving it a definition.

Now they just have to lose the SPL and the Scottish Cup Final and we've got a "unique treble"
-
I bet predictions for our finish will be even higher next year....

Surely our goals conceded is slightly inflated by 4 games (Pompey, Villa, ManUtdx2) in which we gave up 30% of our season's conceded goals. Admittedly, the defense needs sorting, but perhaps it doesn't need the overhaul some people think.

Moyes seems to think with McFadden, they'd have made a better challenge for 4th spot. I'd take him, but little else.
-
Still not sure I really want to keep him around, don't think he'll ultimatley flourish in that AMC role, but Keegan will definitley keep him.

Did anyone win the cup?

When will we know?

We don't need to be in Europe next season anyway

Making the Premier League more competitive.
Shearer9 replied to relámpago blanco's topic in Football
If there is to be a solution, it has to be at the European level. No point in having an even English league if all the teams are equally shite. Sorry if I don't have too much sympathy for the people who berate the bad influence of Sky, but everyone is perfectly happy to have a little Ronaldo(and whoever else) jizzfest in other threads, while complaining about the evils of the corporation in ones like this. I agree that Sky could probably make about as much money by making things a lot easier for the fan as far as kick off times go. But Sky really signaled the end of the dark ages in English football and allowed England to have the first real worldwide superstars. Say what you will about the effect that money has on the teams at the top and the "achievment gap" between top 4 and everyone else, as well as championship v. premiership, but Sky ushered in some of the greatest 15 years of football the country's ever seen. -
.com boys sound like they know something the press doesn't: "Confirmation is now awaited whether Ameobi will complete a permanent move to the Britannia Stadium - which although widely reported as a done deal, is not definite."

The current one is a lot blue-er, and for some reason that picture makes it look lighter than it actually was.

This is one of my all time favorites, I wish we'd bring something like this back: http://cache.viewimages.com/xc/2640026.jpg?v=1&c=ViewImages&k=2&d=17A4AD9FDB9CF19390335F8FA9CA92A6ACE16661C67771149930FDCFC4C15FBB

I just can't understand what the huge opposition is. You have to make one additional click, if you're too lazy then don't read the forum. I like it because it keeps things separated and I'd rather have two more static boards than one that is hard to keep up with, changing all the time, and has hundreds of active topics.
