At this level you'd expect the interview to be two-way i.e. the candidate would be scrutinising his potential employer, so while I don't think this is the case, it's conceivable he impressed us but we didn't impress him. As has been discussed, the structure of modern football clubs is quite nebulous e.g. two people can have the same job title and have very different areas or grades of responsibility. It might just be he was hoping for one type of position and we're offering something different. Or it could be Twitter rubbish!

Apart from Alex Murphy, I don't remember hearing anything positive about any of them.

I'm under the impression the publicly published xGs are a pale shadow of what clubs calculate internally.

God loves a trier. Manages to shin a long ball over for Barnes to head in, and then swings a peg at the ball so it bobbles into the path of Isak to finish. He'll take credit for the assists of course, and it's good he keeps having a go, but dearie me he didn't know much about it
