"Bolton's reaction to any possible developments remains to be seen. Their chairman, Phil Gartside, was decisive nine days ago in enforcing Allardyce's resignation from the club and said Bolton would pursue compensation if Allardyce was to be appointed elsewhere. But Gartside had Manchester City in mind specifically when he was speaking then and the readiness of Newcastle and Allardyce to wait until after this season ends suggests that contractual clauses surrounding compensation may have elapsed by next week. Bolton were unable to confirm any details yesterday."

This could be spot on hence no official confirmation of anything till the season ends.

"Sam Allardyce is expected to be confirmed as the new manager of Newcastle United by the end of next week. It is understood the former Bolton Wanderers manager will be offered a three-year contract at St James' Park and, although there was no comment yesterday from either Newcastle or Allardyce, who is on holiday in Spain, the deal is effectively sealed."

Would have preferred a 5 year deal. Quite surprised if it only turns out to be 3 years. Maybe it is a signal that Shearer WILL be next.

Not quite sure how you reached that conclusion.

Through his powers of making s**** up.

You must have taught him well.

Nothing to do with me. He makes his own ITK bollocks up, and believes whatever the papers say.

Everything i say is my own opinion, i'm quite clear on that. Cheers.

Mate, am messin. Can't someone have a bit of banter round here anymore.

Not if you accuse innocent passers by of that kind of ITK bollocks, no. That sort of thing scars a man, leavs him a broken shell of a human being, unable to carry on without professional help.

    Or something.

  2. Warren Barton too lads, he is on SSN bigging up Big Sam. :D

    Come on BIG Sam.

No thank you, thats dirty, etc etc.

Lighten up NM you're one of the brighter ones on here. ;)

In the kingdom of the blind etc.

  3. Allardyce has signed big names Ivan Campo, Jay Jay Okocha, and Youri Djorkaeff. They all liked him, and word gets around other players.

No top player would turn down Allardyce.

Ivan Campo was Real Madrid reject

Okocha and Djorkaeff at the time were above 30 and they were past their best

The signings of Anelka,Meite,Ben Haim,Faye are more impressive for me.

But, they are big names with big reputations. Players abroad will know about Sam Allardyce, and the quality of his managerial skills, because this information spreads by word of mouth.

What a load of shit, honestly.

  4. Allardyce has signed big names Ivan Campo, Jay Jay Okocha, and Youri Djorkaeff. They all liked him, and word gets around other players.

hahaha! What a load of shite. Brilliant.

Well they might turn down Newcastle, but not because its Allardyce.

Thats a fucking guess, and you know it is. Which big name stars has he tempted to work with him? And by that, i don't mean ageing players and rejects?

  6. I've just caught Sky Sports News there and all of the Birmingham fans there lauding over Steve Bruce and his players there at the promotion parade. Am I not mistaken in the fact most have been calling for his head all season?  :undecided:

No, they were for a while, but not all season.

  9. If I knew how annoying it is to try to read an entire post in CAPS, i'd have done it more often in the past.

I have no idea what you were posting about, because i lost interest, partly cos of the CAPS, and partly because you can't spell 'shite'.

  10. NM, you may be correct but does that make him the wrong appointment?

    Yes and no.

    Its all comparative for me.

In comparison to the last two managers, and our current (justified) league position, he's a good choice.

In comparison to where we WANT to be in the league, who we could maybe get if we took the effort to go and seek a good manager from across europe, and delivered to him a plan of the future (non playing aspecvts) of the club, and the resources and support he would get over the next 3-5 years, then he is a bad choice.

Bearing in mind the fact that our chairman is short-sighted and ineffective when it comes to the football side of running the club, he's the easy, safe choice. My fear in that is that the safe choice is not always the best one*.

    * I am also scared of the size of his head.

  11. Lets be honest, Fat Heed isn't the best man for the job. He's just the best manager who is currently out of work, with Premiership experience.

And Fat Man has heard of him.

  12. With 30m Spurs will buy alot of players :weep:

Hopefully they'll take Dyer off our hands then!

After which, £27.5m will buy a lot of players!

Better the money come to us than us paying Dyer tbh ;D

totally agree, but those who think we'll get any more for Dyer have never watched him, or any actually talented players, for the past 8 years.

  13. With 30m Spurs will buy alot of players :weep:

Hopefully they'll take Dyer off our hands then!

Dyer & Duff for £7m each, maybe Parker as well for £9m or even Owen for £15m.

    hilarious!

  14. All those who say they don't want him - Dyer might not have done things so bad to his own team mate, but Barton has more impact on the pitch, and appears to have been less of a wanker to his own fans.

So i hope you want rid of our diseased little skiprat as well.

  15. I doubt Hughes will achieve what Ericksson achieved at club level.

    That's nice.

Can I borrow your crystal ball? There's a jackpot lottery on next week...

Unless he takes Man Utd after Ferguson quits i doubt that he will win the Uefa cup and reach the final of the Champions league

    Dont you agree?

yeah, cos only Man Utd ever do that.

  16. nice gesture - and i really think he means it

so he was making the previous stuff up? Either way, he's full of shite at some point.

    Get to fuck, Roeder,you cretin.

Says the grumpy bloke from an internet forum :(

    And?

Woudl you rather i perpetuated an absolute myth about him being a nice fella, and that he did his best?

  17. .com are currently on a two-man anti-Allardyce campaign, it would seem.

Nobody listens to them any more, they have lost all credibility.

They'll be getting some back now if they are not getting onto their knees to suck Allardyce off like a lot of people.
