Are we just fully playing real-life FM now, then?

I'm sure we were meant to be sitting back and chilling.

After signaling that it would no longer increase the offer of 20mi € (proposal rejected by the board of the club from Rio de Janeiro) by the athlete #MateusFrança of #Flamengo , #Newcastle does not give up on the jewel of the rubro-negra base, and intends to increase the proposal for 22.5mi € . Flamengo wants 25mi € .

https://archive.is/WfkIR "But The Times has learnt that the possibility of increasing the capacity of the East Stand is now under serious discussion. Newcastle built the stand in 1972 and it is now dwarfed by the more recent extensions of the Milburn Stand and the Leazes End because of restrictions involving the listed Georgian buildings behind it on Leazes Terrace. Those buildings are grade II-listed and a limit was put on the size of the stand when it was built because of issues regarding light. However, advancements in engineering and architecture mean there is the possibility of a redesign that would use more glasswork and allow extra light to go through the stand, potentially leading to a significant capacity increase. The club is looking at every possibility to extend the stadium, but that side of the ground has emerged as a better option instead of building at the Gallowgate End, which has a road behind it and a Metro station underneath. Newcastle want to increase the capacity of the stadium to reflect their growing status, having qualified for the Champions League for the first time in 20 years. They expect to have the results of the feasibility study by this time next year. In the meantime, Newcastle are developing hospitality options inside the stadium during the summer."

"Below are Riso's words: "Mission accomplished? Not yet, there are still a few days left, a little more. The boy is calm, he knows that when such important offers arrive, from such important properties, it is difficult to refuse both for the club and for the boy." We have reached an agreement on the player side, they are defining between clubs: once this is done, he will undergo medical examinations in the next few years. Tears? No, absolutely, the boy is thinking about the national team. A question of bonuses and technical details, bureaucratic things. Six-year contract I confirm. I'm satisfied because it's a great deal, Sandro will help Milan and Brescia too in this deal, who he loves so much. It's a perfect project for him, they want him at all costs and he'll be the point of reference.""

Think Levy being a difficult seller gets him a lot of credit on the buying side that he doesn't necessarily deserve. Spurs' "trading" has been fairly rank with the amount of money they've spent.

I know Leicester are down and the circumstances aren't exactly the same, but if Chelsea are rinsing Man Utd for £50M+£5M when Mount's contract is up in a year you can see why Leicester are attempting the same.

(Should've put "da team" to make it more obvious, sorry.)

Just support the team, Ian.

I reckon Mike should have a crack at all of the thread titles, to be fair, let's go wild. We're in the Champions League for Pete's sake.

Do you even need to ask? It's absolutely rank.
