  1. Martins is a cock man. Vastly overrated as well.
  2. Am I the only one who hasn't got a clue about Gosling's actual ability as a footballer?
  3. Villa any day of the week, exceptional player who is not even playing his natural role and has still been outstanding.
  4. Chelsea, anyone? Man Utd? Man City?
  5. He was always too good for Fulham really.
  6. Wouldn't be a progressive step, you need the next top keeper, not one on the way out. van der Sar was 34 when he signed for Man Utd. Think Arsenal would be better off going for someone commanding in their thirties, although Schwarzer at 37 may be pushing it a bit.

    Fraser Forster

Definitely not going back to Norwich: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/n/norwich/8794081.stm
  8. You just have to remember that it's been the same for a lot of teams before you and throughout this competition, even.
  9. I would be moaning if it was England getting 1 less day. Honestly! Biggest game in football, although when it comes down to it I doubt there'd be that much effect caused as adrenaline takes over, etc. Lineker mentioned it in regards to the 1990 semi, though, so it does play some part.
  10. The last point is right, unfortunately, but it could have been delivered in a far less arsey way.
  11. Any need to change yet another thread title, you power-hungry egotist?

    Ashley Cole

Yeah, if people want someone to blame who actually deserves it then look no further than Gerrard. He's too thick and far too self-centred to be played on the left as he simply refuses to do it, if I was Capello I'd have torn a strip off him for the way he's performed, whenever he's been asked to play there. Ever time he's dumped the left back right in the shit throughout the game, all of Germany's goals came from the right of their midfield because he simply wasn't where he was supposed to be. He's absolutely not a team-player and therefore should never have been made captain, he's one of the very worst we've ever had. Finally, somebody else agrees with me. I agree with that as well. You could see Capello shouting at Gerrard and pointing down at his feet ie hold your position. Said similar after the Algeria game, can't believe it never got resolved. He did better against Slovenia and then totally reverted to type against Germany. Look no further than David Villa to see how effective good players can still be when shuffled left and who keep their discipline and play for the team.
  13. Great question! Knives start at the elbow and wheels below the knee joint. Definitely.
  14. Obviously knives for arms and wheels for legs is the zenith, the absolute peak of perfection in human/machine form, but that's what makes this such an enthralling debate. The battle between knife arms and wheel legs will rage on, unfortunately.
  15. But knives for arms would make eating cornflakes really hard. You couldn't use a pen again. Wiping your arse after turd is problem. Great for mass murdering on a cumbrian taxi driver scale but for day-to-day living it just does not work out for me. Now one knife arm & normal arm & we have a debate. One knife arm and one wheel leg and I am away, tbh.
  16. It was a legitimate question that some weird fuck off my course at uni asked me and the lads upon our first meeting with him, while we were all sitting in the union bar with him to discuss a project we had to work with him on. Literally, an out of the blue, "this is how I will handle this social situation" type thing. Safe to say, he disappeared after second year - probably has got both options now and is some sort of crime fighting vigilante.
  17. Fucking pacifists. I would T-1000 the shit out of people, at least until someone shot me and I died instead of absorbing the bullet. What a way to go.
  18. The real question is: would you rather have a knives for arms or wheels for legs?

    FA Coaching Badges

The current FA coaching model is guff, but you need the qualifications if you want to get anywhere in football unfortunately.
  20. Reid has stood out to me as well, looks like he could play at a decent level.
  21. We'll be wearing red again, won't we? And then again in the quarters if it's Argentina? (As we're scheduled to be the away team both times.) Not worried at all now.
  22. Milner and Defoe had better prove me wrong if they start. The team looks appalling on paper to me, but I may just be incredibly negative these days. Who knows? Come on England man.
  23. Hope to fuck they make people eat their words tomorrow, haven't been hoping for a win as much as this for a long time. Not enthralled about the rumours regarding starts for Milner and Defoe mind.
