  1. The moment for the goal salvaged what was otherwise a pretty average display, but it doesn't matter anyway because he's fucking injured again. That left side today, especially when Willock was on the pitch, was tragic.

    Dan Burn

Regardless of how bad he was in possession, and he was absolutely atrocious, he's failed to defend his zone again on a corner and, along with Trippier's poor marking, it's cost us a goal. However, if he deals with the ball on both occasions Trippier's fuck up doesn't matter a jot. Seems like the nicest bloke in the world, but it's becoming increasingly difficult to defend his performances.
  3. Andy Cole, my first hero: Think I've shared this before, but the random bloke sitting in front of me turned around and kissed me on the lips when we equalised. He had a geet big moustache. I was 7. I was canny cute then, but still. Bit weird.

Is it just that you couldn't possibly make an argument to put Burn ahead of Botman now? So he either sees him as a left-back or as a substitute, and he's surely not going to say the latter. Would expect us to sign a top-class left-back over a left-sided centre-back to "compete" in the summer, personally.

    Hope Andy Carroll scores five.
  6. You must hate the Steve Bruce thread.
  7. Town is going to be bouncing, wish I could be in two places at once.
  8. The punctuation feels like it’s been done as a wind-up.
  9. Fucking union buster over here
  10. Feel weird liking that, tbh, but it's immense that you, Mike, and Decky are coming over. Hopefully more to come!
  11. How thick is that lass laughing at him falling over the advertisement when they've just gone 2-0 down?
  12. Wouldn't necessarily disagree taking everything into account. Casemiro's age/wages and Partey's, ahem, alleged extracurricular activities.
  13. Massive praise for Rice from Wilson on the Footballer's Football Podcast, like. He said pretty much what a lot of us had said on here about him running the game and being one of the best around for being able to break up play and move the ball forward for his team. Seems like one of those where our lads have been talking about how good he is/was in the changing room after the game. Antonio was also trying to give some props to Paqueta as well, but Cal wasn't having any of it.
  14. Ah, well that's a clear fuckup then. At least in this case he was registered as disabled, though it's still mad to force him to buy a disabled ticket.
  15. He spoke about it a bit on his latest podcast, saying exactly that. He thought putting the ball to the right when Aguerd was on his left shoulder would make it impossible to tackle him. Very reluctantly gave him a lot of credit for it.
  16. It's the same issue here, @Ash. If you're registered as disabled with the club (even ambulant) you get forced into buying a disabled ticket by the looks of it. That was likely the reason the lad here at work wasn't able to allocate tickets across the two accounts, so he's just had to log into his own account and get an ambulant ticket, then log into his Dad's to get a standard one. They've probably got a better chance of tickets now they're singles, but obviously shite to not be guaranteed a seat together.
