I would love to see the following line up: -------------pope------- Livra---Schar---Botman---Hall --------Sandro---Joe---- ‐‐‐-----------Bruno------ Gordon----Isak----Barnes 4231

The low press and tight midfield/defensive line we are playing takes the sting out of most teams and they can only put it in from out wide... I also like the quick counter with the pace we have up top. Although, I think it makes us too one-dimensional and top teams will surely grind the low block down with their technical quality? Hoping we start to play it about more with schar back and Tonali starting...

Loving his first touch passes! Speeds everything up and caught spurs out a couple of times by breaking their midfield/attacking press overload
-
With regards to Kelly; he has one negative trait (sorry, I know) which caught my eye yesterday, he backs off too much and leaves space in front of him. Yes, he tries to shepard them outside of him and stays on his feet but... Hmmm! His pace and tackling counters this, but he often lets the attacker get into dangerous areas and that was where a few of their chances came from. Needs to be more aggressive/proactive

He's been one of your worse "megastar" signings, legs completely gone a while back. Has the occasional game where he looks decent but it is one in four...

My take is that Spurs were toothless up front and it cost them the game. We are pressing with only the three forward players and when that fails we move into a low block which allows teams to dominate in our half. We look good on the transition and counter attack but apart from that we seem unable to string more than three or four passes together. Krafth, Burn and kelly really limit our ability to play the ball out from the back. Pope looks especially nervous so far and his kicks out are poor. Tonali needs to start and schar back will perhaps allow us to pass the ball about better. How long till Botman is back? Our LCB slot is pisshh atm.

Hope Yasir tears two new A-Holes for mitchell and eales afyer our recent fiasco
-
Has been decent to be fair. Both joe and bruno have been quiet/out of sorts
-
Although it is scary to think about, this could well be a scenario we face in January if we are not doing well... Professional (elite) footballers tend to be ruthless both on and off the field.

65 million plus add ons?
-
ELANGA to the rescue!!!
-
Fits the Eddie "makes a top class player from a decent one" development scenario
-
All down to one's perspective. I can imagine everyone at all levels (players/coaches/directors/owners...) are pretty peeved no "purples" have been brought in. We will never know (unless somebody gets sacked) what has caused this and whether it is bad luck, didn't adhere to our strategy or incompetence. Time will tell!

That was the whole point of this window; to bring in those two other top players so that without injuries we would have a top four team. At the moment we are those 2/3/4 players short (CB, LB, RW)
-
There is some truth in the above! Those are championship/lower prem players, not top champions league potentials
-
Would like to see Guehi refuse a new deal and then ratface (II) would get his pants pulled down in jan the smarmy cnut!
-
Think Gordon plays really well on the right, and by bringing on barnes on the left we would not be any weaker there. Seems a no brainer against Tottenham. Just can't see why Eddie hasn't done this already...

SANDRO = NEW SIGNING
-
Trying not to be negative, but we are in a position where we expext good transfer business to be carried out in the only viable window. Multiple targets and budgets should have been executed and we should have been a couple of "purples" (first teamers - for newbies) better off by now. It has to be seen as a complete failure if we did have 70M budget for the window
-
If we disnt think he was worth 65 plus add ons why the feck would we pay 70 plus add ons. Bloke is taking the pish
-
If he has upped the original price, you would have to think that we would have the dignity to twll him to go amd fcuk himself! Who does he think he is!
-
Whichever way you look at it; the club has not fulfilled it's remit in the summer transfer window. People have to be held responsible! It only seems between Eddie and Paul who are to blame. The collateral damage I would think will come next winter/summer when we inevitably Fall further down the league than presumed and some of our star players get itchy feet! Come on EH & PM... pull your fingers out!!!
