  1. Will be nice to see big joe back on the pitch at some point in the game (i would start him). Would like to see a middle three of bruno joe and anderson, see if they gel. Very dynamic and forward facing midfield!

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Not a chance! Big money for Athletic Bilbao won´t even reach the 100k per week mark. I have a good contact there and no way is Nico on that money, his brother Iñaki will be close to the 100k mark...
  3. Yep, I tried to watch a few of his podcasts and both him and the other guy come across as so arrogant and self centered, i.e. looking to showcase themselves rather than the interviewee...
  4. Palace just strolling through them. Eze or olise? Would love either of them, would need a system change though

    Nick Pope

Would be nice to see him back between the posts for one of the upcoming games.

    Jacob Murphy

This is the perfect summary for me too...
  7. Can´t believe the amount of stupidly undervalued quotations from the press about how much it would cost Arsenal to buy him!!! Even seen some 150 million quoted for both him and Bruno ... they obviously have a huge agenda to try and unsettle them. We cannot sell either of them to any of our prem rivals, it would be sporting suicide. I could just about bear it if Real madrid came in and wanted one of them, but City or Arsenal would really get my goat, it would just prolong the time we would take to compete for the premier league... if we were to sell Isak or Bruno, it would have to be 150 million each or thereabouts... Caicedo/Enzo for 110M apiece, Osimen quoted at around the 120M mark.

    Lewis Hall

I though he looked nervous for the first ten-fifteen minutes and then played a stormer. He is only a kid and will get much better with more experience. Really like his passing ability and confidence with the ball, reminds me of Trippier but without the defensive toolkit completely in place. Was not at all convinced when he first played but I am much more confident with what I have seen lately, good tasty humble pie!!!
  9. Manu look knackered with Palace (in top form) and Arsenal next, we control our own destiny and can only get better with injured players back in reckoning. Chelsea have the easiest run-in but are still a couple of points behind us.

Ketsbaia... aah, those were the days
  11. I think Kelly and him would be very astute signings as we need to spend big in other positions and we have a good central defence for next year albeit both injured. Both are very highly rated, the fact they play in bottom/mid table teams has absolutely no influence imo, with eddie's input they will step up another level. Both have pace, an ingredient we sorely lack with our high line pressing. No brainer for me!

Would like us to sign two "purples" to come in and make an impact on the first team and then two or three "upcoming" youngsters to add some stardust to our bench.

Aye, Tosin and Kelly would be an awesome start to silly season
  14. Loan him out next season so he comes back with game experience. He wont get minutes with our main boys back in midfield
  15. Manu: palace, arsenal, nufc, brighton Tot: chelsea, liverpool, burnley, city
  16. Just looked at the remaining games for Tottenham, Manu and ourselves. If we win three of our four and maybe draw the other I am sure we would finish fifth. Both of the others have really hard run ins and I could see them getting very little points...

    Jacob Murphy

Murphy, ritchie, dummet, krafth, targett, almiron and, at a shove, longstaff, will all need to be moved on sooner rather than later and replaced with much higher quality players. I genuinely feel for the lad, he was good enough in the Ashley era i.e. bottom third of the prem, but he is way no where near for where we want to be.
  18. I think our defence are petrified to pass it back to Dubs, it really showed last night where we needed an "extra" man at the back (keeper) and it was just not there. he is dog with the ball at his feet and makes our job a lot harder if we don´t have that extra outlet... When receiving a pass his control of the ball makes him need the extra half second and then his weight on the passes . Oh well... come on Popey! get well soon!
  19. If we are looking for a ball passing centre back who is commanding in everything he does... look no further! I thought their set up 3-4-2-1 made their press so much harder to beat. they were confident with the pace of clyne and Muñoz to cover the wings whilst Anderson controlled any threat through the middle. Loved Eze, what a silky and fast player! Murphy, Krafth and Schar were all way below the passing levels required to beat a well organised press. oddly enough I though big Dan did allright passing the ball, just his defending for the goal was pretty poor... Good day at the office for them and a mediocre one for us. Seeing their depth off the bench as well?? I was jealous of palace being able to bring on decent level subs... Will be a couple more transfer windows before we can see little difference between onfield and subs
  20. 100% effort, just didn't quite come off... like most of our team tbf
  21. Glad to see the back of him at the end of the season. Nervous every time he has the ball at his feet. We so needed a keeper who could play football tonight to beat their press
  22. They pressed the life out of us. Defence was not capable of getting the ball out of our half, very slow passing and turning. Their front line looked dangerous every time they had the ball. Their full backs werenso aggressive (clyne and muñoz). They played better and we had no response
  23. Mind you, Murphy was decent last week as a wing-back. Could well go the same way but with Tino on the left: Murph---shcar---burn---tino
