Gordon wilson Isak up front with plenty of positional interchanges! Would love to see it

Personally, I would prefer to see the team set out in a 4-1-4-1: -----------------------Pope--------------------------- Tripps-----Schar--------Botman-------------Burn- ------------------Tonali-------------------------- Gordon ------Bruno--------Isak------Big Joe -------------------Wilson----------------- Have Isak and Big Joe rotating.

If we sell bruno to strengthen our rivals it would be a big surprise! Can't think of a worse thing to do seeing how inflated the transfer market is. If it was a world record breaker i.e. 160M, then allowed us to spend 300M via FFP, then maybe it would be a goer...

Aye, i just think that the left hand side has been "weak" both attack and defensive wise for a bit now. Targett probably needs 3-4 games just to get up to speed tbf, as do quite a few other judging by performances. We just seem "tired" already and can´t seem to keep up the high intensity for long.

He looks more threatening as a deeper nine or coming inside from the flanks, would like to see a bit more of him and wilson together...

To be honest, both joe and bruno have looked well below par this season. Not sure about tonali yet. I think we miss longstaffs defemsive positioning and reading of opposition attacks.

Thought their keeper was great as an extra "baller" in the back line. Pope was hesitant and made far too many mistakes in his distribution, we need to improve if we want to play it out from the back

Their defense played the ball out superbly, cant remember how many times they played slick passes to their midfielders by-passing our press. We were lethargic at best today. Did like wilson and isak together with gordon on the other side.

Mistake by Pope for their goal, otherwise we have looked reasonable, nothing more, even with them dominating. Mind you we havent really threatened them at all and look a bit passive. Their defense seem to able to pick their passes and then we are backtracking pretty quick. Pedro, the young irish lad and mitoma all look very good, solly as well. They are playing very well, have to give them their due. Lets see what we do in the second half, Bruno has been better today at least that is a positive, isak too...

My honest take is that we weren't capable of finishing it off or seeing it out, we seemed to be in limbo/treading water from about the 30th minute. Their first goal I thought should have been saved, and the second was a silly lost ball and then bounces off his arse... a joke! All in all we were poor. Against 10 men we should have rinsed them but weren't up to it. Let's see how we react against brighton.

Gordon looks great, will get arnold sent off at some point, too much for him. Big joe is a beast and ref is a bit biased against him. Defence is solid. Bruno still needs to step up a gear, still solid. Miggy and Isak just need a bit of a spark, not a lot of ball getting to Isak tbh...
