What an outing today, impresses me more with every game. Gets the crowd going, lifts the team and starts our presses loads, looking really dangerous every time he jas the ball. Well content! Looking a steal at 40m

I thought his ball control and passing last night were exceptional, didn´t get forward that much but had a very good game. Those passes he received from defence when he only had a half second to control and pass it on/move were high end, much better than big dan on the ball but he is probably a little worse at defending.

Top bloke!

I think Gordon has been one of the positives of this season. He has looked one of our best players in the games played and puts in a shift. Would like to see him in a N°10 role if eddie were to tinker and play a 4231

Agree 100% on this. We are fixated on closing passing lines and we sometimes forget about pressuring the man with the ball. Good attackers find the spaces to receive the passes...

Aye, it is obvious that we are nowhere near the levels we achieved last season. BUT... THIS IS A MARATHON, NOT A SPRINT!!

I honestly think we are scrapping out results as best as we can at the moment because we have completely lost our "mojo" and look out of sorts. Only way to get it back is training hard and pairing the right players. Some combinations just don't work as well as others... We need time and patience until we start whacking teams again. Good point tonight after a painful watch. I was lucky, there was nothing to cheer at all so my "incognito" presence went unnoticed!

Majestic! Not a lot got down his side...

Both first and second half there were huge gaps on our left modfield, Big dan was left with his arse oot for most of the game. We should have remedied it...

Butterflies in stomach now, gettin close to Milan Central Station, can't wait. Have a ticket with the home support, so no colours and will have to suppress the goal celebrations when we put three past them!!! HAWAY!!!!!!!

Just arrived in Bergamo, on way to station to get the train to Milan... HTL!!!

Would like to see the following tomorrow: ------------------Pope--------------------- Tripps----Schar----Botman--------Burn--- ----Longstaff----bruno------Tonali------ Gordon---------isak-------------Barnes-- Think barnes for Miggy is what we will see, as eddie might like a bit more defensive mindset before bringing on Calum and Barnes to rip it up a bit at the ned of the game...

Gordon wilson Isak up front with plenty of positional interchanges! Would love to see it

I have an early morning flight to Bergamo then late afternoon flight back next day. . Can't wait!! Last champs league game I attended was against Barca when Tino ripped Nadal a new b-hole!!! -
Personally, I would prefer to see the team set out in a 4-1-4-1: -----------------------Pope--------------------------- Tripps-----Schar--------Botman-------------Burn- ------------------Tonali-------------------------- Gordon ------Bruno--------Isak------Big Joe -------------------Wilson----------------- Have Isak and Big Joe rotating.

If we sell bruno to strengthen our rivals it would be a big surprise! Can't think of a worse thing to do seeing how inflated the transfer market is. If it was a world record breaker i.e. 160M, then allowed us to spend 300M via FFP, then maybe it would be a goer...

Wahay!!! Got my ticket for the game, flying to Bergamo on the tuesday and backout on the wednesday, can´t wait!!! -
Aye, i just think that the left hand side has been "weak" both attack and defensive wise for a bit now. Targett probably needs 3-4 games just to get up to speed tbf, as do quite a few other judging by performances. We just seem "tired" already and can´t seem to keep up the high intensity for long.
-
Aye, a 4-2-3-1 suddenly looks appetising. Apart from thw obvious, I Would like to see Hall or livramento on the left as Target was very meh.. yesterday
-
Chelsea got beat by forest yesterday, worse result than ours if you ask me...
-
To be honest, both joe and bruno have looked well below par this season. Not sure about tonali yet. I think we miss longstaffs defemsive positioning and reading of opposition attacks.

Thought their keeper was great as an extra "baller" in the back line. Pope was hesitant and made far too many mistakes in his distribution, we need to improve if we want to play it out from the back
