Havent read the thread but Dummet was slower than a snail today, manquillo looked like maldini compared to him... Forgot how ordinary he was.

Be crackin if he got off to a great start with a couple of goals against this lot, be a huge lift for everyone!!

Taking into context the pricing above quoted for classy defenders, then i think 40 million plus is probably right if this lad is up to the hype...

If I was an opposition manager I would undoubtably double up on our left hand side. It´s a clear weakness for a team to attack, hopefully Dummet is in good form and the midfield trio have been told to screen properly on that side...

Would be pleased if he went with that one. Hopefully Ritchie isn´t in the defence. A 433 type of formation with wide wingers looks good there...

I would rather an unfit dummet at left back than Krafth. I would only ever play Krafth in a back three (he is gash). Also, Take into consideration that our left back will be left totally open by ASM, we need a good/competent defender in there... Trippier on left and Murphy right in a back four (good attacking intent with Lascelles and schar in middle.

Just seen us linked to Holgate from everton, always thought he was a decent player, would help out in our defensive frailties...

Same here, they deserved a lot more from that game. Manu were gash and they took the game to them for 70 of the 90 mins (manure played for the first and last ten mins)

Don´t really want to pee on anyone´s chips here, but... from watching his goals on you tube and his general play, he looks quite clumsy overall and was very lucky in about 50% of his passes and goals. Also, the pace of play in those games was snail like compared to the prem. Not sure he would solve our urgent need for someone to hit the ground runnignand netting goals, looks much more like "one for the future". Rant over (Dennis Wise´s long lost scouting bruvva).

Striker and centre back top priority (in that order). And get ritchie out the back line asap, trippier on the left and manqui on the right. Our game of the season!

Unlikely to get Isaac, seemed to be nailed on that he was going to madrid in the summer. Puts them away for fun, unreal if we did!

I quite like a striker to have a bit of a chip on their shoulder e.g. Costa, Big Dunc, Bellamy...

Also been linked to him a lot over the years and a few clubs in the top half of the league...

Haven´t actually seen him play but of all the talk about the SPL he is the only head above the parapet when people talk about rated players. Memory is going (age I suppose)

I still think Morelos from Rangers/Celtic(?) would be a good buy. Wouldn´t cost too much and knows the rough and tumble of the SPL, suppose it´s the equivalent of taking a bet on a championship striker. He knocks them in for fun up there...

My son (follows La liga) reckons the Seville centre half (carlos) we are in for is an absolute beast and very quick. Likes a hard tackle and a bit of a fight with the strikers as well. Get him in!!

I thought he has been playing quite well recently, proper marauding full back in the last few games. Has always been a bit fragile but has improved a lot...
