  1. On the nail, very good article and describes most of our feelings about Brucie Bonus...

    Jacob Murphy

Against Man City he defended really well, especially against sterling, and was one of the players capable of playing it out of defense. I think he has played better in the wing-back position than as a winger, the team as a whole seem to play a lot better with the 3-5-2 system or 5-3-2 system (whatever your perspective is). Like said before, would rather Murphy than Jonjo/Hendrick, he seems to have stepped up a notch and hopefully will keep progressing (under another manager? yippee)
  3. P.S. Almiron is irreplaceable for me at moment. Nobody in the whole squad puts in a shift like he does
  4. Taking into account Bruces´quotes the other day, looks like we won´t be getting many new players this summer as he was on about bosmans... Damn right about a new midfield needed. I would probably leave hayden and old longstaff tin as they have been good at times and with a new manager (dreams), they would probably do a lot better.
  5. Kante (and Perhaps Nezema) were the two players on the pitch who were "world class" last night. Kante did everything, stealing, pressuring, cutting off pass lines and his attacking intent was awsome, he was involved in 90% of the decent chelsea attacks. Benzema´s movement off the ball was unbelievable, I don´t think he was dispossessed at any time. Had a fizzer come off the post and buried a quarter chance at best. Unreal! Timo werner is like our own Joe, how the hell is he worth 40 mill? His off the ball work is horrible, on numerous chelsea attcks he should have gone wide (draw defender) or diagonally inside (bunch defenders and leave space on outside) and he did neither. In the second half you could see the other atttackers unwilling to give him the ball (with reason). Enjoyed it, and hope Madrid get stuffed becuase their "mr burns" president is the wart on the beautiful face of football...

West ham are playing very well at the moment. Solid team and lingaard has given them a breath of fresh air up front with the tank. We would have to be at our very best to get something from this. Can only see Sheffield and Fulham as our possible point sources... 6 points would keep us up. Burnley´s run in is very hard and they are only a point above us.

Kept harry maguire out becuase he really is a plodder, doesn´t live up to hype

He should start with a 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 instead of the more defensive 5-3-2 he likes. We have the players to do so: ----------------------Henderson-------------------------- shaw--------stones--------Mings--.-.--------Walker --------------philips --------rice------------------- ----sterling--------mount-------------rashford ------------------Kane-------------------
  9. He is worse than Kraft. Quite bad tbh.

If, for whatever stroke of luck, we were to beat Brighton, I reckon we would send them down... they have a nasty run of five games after ours which would send them into a downward spiral. If we beat this lot we would have burnley and Wham which are semi winnable and could have our "big guns" back for then. Positive spin... you have to try though!
  11. Reminds me quite a lot of carver, same lip licking and various nervous touch face ticks. Both equally as useless with boat loads of arrogance (thick twattedness if you prefer)...
  12. Liked Benitez as Poirot... Glorious

    David Squires

Top quality that!! Suppressing the giggles at work...
  14. Forgot a bout Jaap Stam, good shout, reckon van dykes/companys skills at bringng ball out does it for me
  15. Robertson? Robertson? Really? ROBERTSON? Not such a bad call. The only problem is it shifts Cole out to the right. I found right back the most difficult position to fill. There wasn't an outstanding candidate. I was even tempted to pick Alexander-Arnold, but there are still too many questions about his defending. If Robertson was a right back, I think I'd have picked him there. Along the lines of above tbh... cant think of any other outstanding full backs. Really think he is a great modern full back, great engine, pace and attacks and defends at a very high level. Better than alexander arnold tbh, although his free kicks/flair stuff get him more air time
  16. Champs league is their real achilles, they just seem to fluff their lines and Guardiola seems to overthink/twiddle too much instead of dictating games like in prem...
  17. I'm sure it'll be closer but Man City look on a different planet to everyone else. Totally agree. Even with de bruyne and aguero out they looked unbeatable. Imagine taking those two out of any other team... they would really suffer
  18. -----------------------schmeichel-------------------------- cole---------kompany----------van dyke------robertson --------------kante--------Keane------------------- --Henry----------Cantona--------------giggs ----------------SHEARER---------------
  19. Could swap shelvey for hendrick if we wanted a bit more defensive... Would rather go for a positive win
  20. would go for the following or a 4-3-3 with same players: ----------------------Dubs-------------------------- Murphy-----Lascelles-----Clark-------Lewis --------------Hayden------Shelvey---------- Ritchie-----------Willock------------Fraser ---------------Joe--------------------

    Rafa Benítez

Where do you think we would be now? ... if Rafa had been allowed to spend 10 million on the academy and another 60/70 mill as Bruce has had on players... I reckon the football would be ordered/organised but we probably wouldn´t have seen Maximillion here. We would be proud of the team and club and would be watching with intent and passion. Not quite the experience at the moment
  22. The reality, and we all know it, is that Ashley is as stupid as the plastic manager he currently has in the dugout. If he doesn´t change Bruce now we are definitely down. God, I detest the imposter we have pretending to be a manager, not quite like the hate I had for the sleazy creepy king, but slowly inching towards that... We need to win two of our next three games otherwise we are doomed. The only saving grace is that Fulham now have a four or five game fixture list that seems very hard for them to pick up points.
  23. Does nobody else see that Krafth is a completely useless defender? I would rather have murphy in there at right back and it would possibly give us more attacking threat as well. I honestly would not play Kraft again this season, he just backs off all the time and is so easily turned... how the hell he plays international football???
