    Transfer rumours

I would go for: Tarkowski Rob holding or Kurt Zouma (change to a back three with wing backs) Doucoure (or similar defensive holding midfielder) Lamptey Zaha (would mean we had a front three that could shred defences)
  2. If Rafa had been available I would have gone there. The one with most prem experience and building clubs from lower echelons is Eddie Howe, plays decent football and has a style/schematic which would be ok for the next couple of years.
  3. Watched Palace on Monday and they looked pretty decent against an arsenal side that is on the up...
  4. I would like to see first of all a defensively tight team but with attacking potential: -----------------Dubs------------------ -----Schar------Lascel-------Fede----- Murphy---Hayd----Willock--------Lewis (?Manquillo) --------Almiron------St max---------- -------------Wilson--------------- The main worry for me is that the back three are pretty slow, hopefully only one of the wing backs would push on at the same time
  5. Would be a good sigining, the tune fits the current state of joy: Sunday Monday happy days Tuesday Wednesday happy days Thursday Friday happy days Saturday what a day Rockin' all week for you
  6. I would probably leave lascelles out of that as he was decent under Rafa, but will never be able to trap/pass a football. Clark and Ritchie were not even good enough for a top ten championship side yesterday. Huge gaps and bad decisions time after time. The whole team looked two yards off the mark yesterday. Confidence seems really low and it shows in the decisions they make. Shelvey showed what he can do; four decent passes, easily dispossessed and a red card in waiting. Stupidest fouls from a very stupid man... Bruce was clueless in his selection, but it was nice to see fraser get a run out, sure he can do more for us...

    Transfer rumours

St maximans yoynger brother judging by style of play. They actually played together a few years ago. Stand out performer in belgium national team over last year
  8. I would accept just about any half decent pleb instead of the blobby brain dead bassa we have at the moment
  9. Roberto Martinez has been touted as the next manager for Barcelona, they think he has matured with international football and is now capable of holding his own in league situations whereas previously he was seen as too blinkered with playing a style instead of substance and points. Would be an absolute coup if we got him....

    Graeme Jones

Would have him in an instant over Bwucie. Anything would be better (although mr. lickspittle comes to mind after pardew)?
  11. Villa were totally pedestrian FFS, if we can´t beat that lot playin crap football we don´t deserve a thing. Very disjointed, all over the place. Far too easy down the wings for them I thought. Neither team looked at all like they were going to score and then villa just upped their fight and started to gain momentum, which we had no answer for at all.
  12. Aye, very well put. Sums up exactly what and where we are today.
  13. Forgot to mention: Shelvey... "world class luxury player" who is allowed to strut around doing nothing as long as he makes a couple of raking diagonal passes that end up as nothing.
  14. Agree 100%, Krafth and Clark are slow, easily turned and crap in the air (as well as not being able to pass)... The exact requisites for a prem league defender???
  15. West Ham should be a bit less of an attacking threat without lingard. Like the midfield pair of rice and sousek, very sturdy. If we get off to a good start we have a couple of winnable games tbf. Only worry for me is our centre midfield, can they step up a gear?

    Transfer rumours

3 goals in 19 games, doesnt get me worked up. Could be one for bruce to develop into a superstar...??
  17. I thought Pickford was really nervous all night and transmitted this to the defence. i really wish he would calm down and play the short passes as his kicks further than 30 yards are awful. You could see the defense shouting at him all night to cool it... Liability last night...
  18. Same here, Rice looks very pedestrian tbh, phillips has a different energy to him...
  19. Brought a tear to my eye. The phrase "World Class" fits perfectly to this gentleman...
  20. Then again: walker---stones---maguire---shaw Mount----Rice-----Foden Rashford----Kane-----Sterling
  21. I honestly think that we are more suited to a 3-4-2-1 ------Walker --Maguire --Stones------ James-----Rice-------Mount------shaw --------Rashford----------Foden---- ----------------Kane-----------------
  22. OGS is a decent manager going on results since he has been in that position. The one thing that would be worrying for me if I were a Man U fan is that he does not seem to have his own footballing "template/philosophie", I really don´t know what "type" of football he wants his teams to play... With Manu he seems to like to counter-attack more than anything, but when they play lesser teams they are not so good at breaking them down and their possession and first press is nothing like the "elite" managers of the moment are employing. Not decided on him, if he is given cash in the summer he will have to deliver silverware next year.
  23. Is cathro being considered for the managers job at wolves? Always thought he would go on to greater things

    Graeme Jones

Well done Graeme!!! Just goes to show what all of us have been thinking since the upturn. Disgrace that Bruce gets recognition for manager of the month. Do you think he had the dignity/humility to give it to jones?
