    Joelinton

Back training after a knee injection in Barcelona. If he plays against Chelsea it's a huge physcological advantage! Let's roast these blue wazzacks!

    U23s & Academy

Saw the Australia coach saying Kuol has to get games under his belt next season if he wants to play for the national side. Shola needs to pull his finger out and sort him a loan to a side where he will actually play and somewhere that suits his style
  3. Been on a couple of their forums, they are not that confident. they see SJP as a bogey trip and that the early game will upset them. They seem to think that Caicedo tucking into the middle (from righ back) is a disadvantage and will give us a free channel to attack them down with gordon or barnes... Good point!
  4. Based on if they qualify for european competition, but coupled to the way they are playing at the moment and the remaining games they have (not easy ones), so it is not a definite...

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Watched Mcatee for city and he doesn´t stand out in any way. Typical technical footballer who prefers the pass backward than to take on his man, just doesn´t seem like an Eddie Howe player...
  6. Lavia in the middle and Caicedo on the right (tucks into the middle when they have ball) has made a huge difference to them and they seem much more solid at the moment. They also have a pacy attack and Palmer´s creativty. We will miss Big Joe a lot in this game. Question is, who will step up in the middle? I don´t think Willock is the one for this game as it will be a difficult battle in there, I would almost prefer gordon or Miley just for their battling qualities...
  7. I would have Botman in for Schar for this one, Fabs gets turned more easily when up against pacy strikers... We need as much pace as possible at the back, Livra and Botman would improve that. Would also have Gordon on for Murph, his aggression and pressing is much better and as we haven´t been giving Isak service of late, a change may be due??
  8. Watched Forest last night and came away thinking that Anderson doesn´t have the necessary level to improve our midfield. Yes, he would have been a better option than longstaff but the level is not anything near our other three...

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

If we sell Longstaff and perhaps get Gomes in on a free?? Good creative midfielder and provides next level cover
  10. If we make the champs league it will significantly effect what we do in the transfer market, both attracting players to the club and paying larger fees for better ones. With champs league we could buy: -Mbuemo (RW and cover for ST) -Guehi or Huijsen (RCB) -Gomes Free (creative midifeld, cover for Bruno) -Trafford (Nº1 GK)
  11. I would bring botman back today, they have pace on the wings and welbeck isn't slow, just think schar wont give us the cover needed. In midfield I would prefer willock, he is due a good Game and has a bit more match fitness...
  12. How bad were Bilbao tonight... Manu played much better than their recent results. All english final with the two "worst" Big six mánagers... JHC!!
  13. They are going to Get mullered by Athletic on thursday...
  14. next two games are must win if we want CL! Brighton are very hit and miss, not sure if we should press them high as they do play through the press well, if so, I would have Gordon back on the field..also to help track back and mark Minteh.
  15. Possibility that Chelsea, City and Forest lose their next prem league games, none of them very easy; Chelsea - Liverpool Forest - Brentford City - Wolves
  16. That shot he took into the top corner would have been a worldy, just half a foot wide. Mind, he could of passed for either of wilson or osula as well
  17. I agree that he looks very tidy on the ball, hopefully he will grow into the midfield role and dominate in the future. looks like the type of player who can dominate the tempo of the match when he wants to..
  18. Not a chance, they are playing pretty badly even though they are still scoring goals. No way we can let welbeck get the better of us again next week, also with Tino at left back we should nullify the pace of minteh.
  19. Chelsea have the hardest run in, but we are five points ahead of villa. If we beat Brighton away next week I think we will qualify for the champs league! Chelsea and Everton hme games are must wins. Both looked pretty crap earlier today fwiw.
  20. We should have had three or four goals in the first half, just seemed they had a force field erected in their goal, unreal it never went in...

    Jacob Murphy

His runs in behind the defence are timed to perfection, and with Bruno/tripps feeding him inch-perfect passes he is absolutely wallowing in it!! Long may it continue! Another belter from him

    Joelinton

Injured his knee last game apparently, waiting for test results... Hmmm, not exactly what is needed for the run in, hopefully it´s nothing!
  23. Miles better than Wilson. Just needs to calm down a bit, seems to only function at a 110mph
