YouTube scouting report: looks like an attacking midfielder/wide right. Tall and strong, a quick player but not fast, uses his movement and dribbling to get past opponents (some of the dribbling reminded me of old Jack Grealish). Good awareness of where teammates are, good passer especially through balls. Good finisher with right foot, only one with left.

Downside (for wealthy vultures) is as it’s open for longer less time pressure on distressed sellers to sell by a certain date.

You’re right about could we get the same level of improvement for less as Brentford will want a premium for him. Up to us to decide if that premium (proven PL performer) v talent proven in foreign leagues but with no guarantees of adapting is worth it. As has been mentioned in the Guehi thread money’s tight and we can’t afford to take the hit on a dud so paying a premium for a proven player may be more sensible.
