Come on, the Tapsoba link wasn’t realistic? My question is do we want to fill a position or do we want Guehi which are two different things.

What I find strange is there’s no noise about alternative CBs other than Tapsoba last week which wasn’t realistic. Is Guehi an opportunist attempt to sign a player (contract winding down and rivals not wanting him at the price we were willing to pay) and it’s him or nothing?

Think we’re more concerned with the league so being cup tied shouldn’t be a block to a transfer though it’s still unlikely he signs.
