Need this stay at a scoreline where there’s still a chance for Man U to pull it back, if gets away from them they may not exert themselves as much.
-
Then you’d have the big clubs signing players from the smaller ones all through a season and disrupting these clubs. Struggling a little? No problem, sign a player doing well at a smaller club. With the transfer windows there’s two periods the smaller clubs need to prepare for even using the deadline to defend bids for the players by dragging them out.

Yes but he believed it and it was a factor in picking Milan. He even states in the article how Dries Mertens speaking about Napoli compares to what he was told about Newcastle, basically saying “I heard Newcastle is a shit city”. His stock has fallen, he’s flopped in a weaker league playing for one of the top teams there, and Milan want rid. He can go be someone else’s problem.

Wouldn’t want him, thinks Newcastle is dark and dingy and nothing to do. https://www.teamtalk.com/newcastle-united/charles-de-ketelaere-talked-out-of-33m-newcastle-transfer-liverpool-old-boy-aims-dig-at-city

Redemption arc all go.

Liverpool look dangerous every time they go forward.

Possibly but do they hold a long term interest in football now the WC is over? If it was a state purchase why not go via Qatar Sports Investment and the Redbull route as skulking around in the shadows takes away the prestige of ownership (isn’t that what it’s about)? Why not bid for Chelsea who were a fire sale if after a PL club (no one knew Man U would become available). Also could mean Man U at risk of breaking PL rules concerning shadow directors would they risk that seeing the PL is willing to take on rule breakers? Guess we’ll find out if the win the bidding.
-
Probably because the Qataris bidding for Manu U ain’t the state it’s just a rich member of the royal family ( the emirs uncle). They’re getting rich people money not the sovereign wealth money the media are desperate for.
-
The chairman already said months back that PIF aren’t after Man U but said if private individuals or groups want to bid they’d support it.
-
Ideally Barca score and then Man U need to go full guns in the next match.
-
His son plays for them, remember he came on for them a few months back and his co commentator let him do the substitution to introduce his kid. He was all emotional.
-
Man U hanging on.

Lewondowski didn’t touch it Raphinia goal.

Maybe I’m missing something but Mudryk is nowhere near as good has his transfer fee would suggest.

They stated thermal imagery showed signs of life but the only real confirmation of life is sight, sound, and smell. Thermal imagery isn’t x ray vision, so they have some heat signatures, could be anything such as building materials absorbing sunlight and then releasing heat as air temperatures cool later in the day. Not being a dick but it’s not proof of anything.

https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/matt-targett/leistungsdaten/spieler/250478/saison/2022/plus/1 Started off as a first pick, picked up a few injuries, then was in and out of the starting xi, and then long term injured. Hard to say whether Eddie does or doesn’t fancy him.

Realistically how can the club? We don’t know the locality, we don’t have people on the ground, more likely to get in the way albeit with good intentions. Short of hiring in lifting and digging equipment and shipping it to Turkey with a team of operators (presume everything in Turkey is already mobilised) not sure what the club can do and even if we went to that extent there would bureaucracy getting it in. It’s 8 days since the quake, it’s no longer a rescue operation except for the odd miracle story of survival.

Sticks his left leg out so Ramsey hits it. Played for it.

Think there has to be a balance, the ownership has done brilliantly overall but if the team and individuals have a bad game it’s not unfair to say so. The criticism posted yesterday in the main wasn’t over the top, didn’t see the majority screaming to banish Burn and never pick him again. The games done and we move on.
