I was in the loft today getting something down for the kids and came across my shirt Titus had signed for me after we beat Mallorca when Eto played for them - Thu 11 Mar Newcastle Utd. 4 - 1 Real Mallorca UEFA Cup, either that game or when we drew - 01 Nov 2003 Newcastle United v Aston Villa D 1-1 Premier League. I was wondering if anyone could help me name who`s on there for something to do. The obvious ones are - Bobby Robson Alan Shearer Solano Hughes I`m pretty sure Speedo and Robert are on there somewhere as I saw them that day after the game. Name The NUFC Autographs From 2003/2004 http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c17/Rebellious1/IMG_2994.jpg

He reminds me of Nick Cotton from Eastenders for some reason.

Bringing on Armstrong was stupid. Also what was the point of bringing Cabella on with 2 mins left. The difference between us and a team that wins is that when we get into good positions our players all shot at a defender instead of 1 or 2 more intelligent passes. Its also been mentioned before we must be the only team in the world that don`t see a corner as an advantage. I would rather have a throw in, as I know it would create more.

That's so loaded it's ridiculous Up to 11% now the NO vote has mobilised That's why I mentioned it. Had to get shearer`s % up. I knew we would sort it out.

http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/thierry-henry-greatest-premier-league-4819926 There is a poll at the bottom of the article. Shearer currently has 6%.

No its because everyone else has been so shit, its a mind trick. He has just been himself. Nowadays a completed pass and a cross have become highlights. For the past two years all a NUFC player has to do is win a tackle, complete 3 passes and put in a scrappy cross to become a player of the season candidate.

How many times did Moussa get the ball in the final third and just stop, stare at it and wait to get robbed ? He didn`t seem to be as interested in bombing forward and crossing to no one this week.

Lascelles starting for Forest tonight against Spurs on SS1 for anyone who hasn`t seen him play. I havn`t.

They really have no idea it's not about where he is from, it's about how much of a dick he is and awful football style What a knob, I live about 40mins from London, my brother in law moved away from Newcastle down here when he was 4 and we are both gutted we can`t join in the protest. I hate it when people with 2 brain cells speak for everyone just because they lucked a job on TV.

Surprised Cacapa hasn`t been mentioned.

http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/newcastle-united-news-kevin-keegan-3492049 The former Toon boss declared that he understands why supporters are so upset with the club's owner, who he accused of buying the club 'as a bit of a joke' Villain of the piece: Ashley has drawn the ire of the Magpies fans Former Newcastle United boss Kevin Keegan has slammed Magpies owner Mike Ashley for treating the club's supporters with "a total lack of respect." The Magpies have been on a miserable run since Yohan Cabaye's departure in January, losing nine of 13 matches since February began, ahead of today's win over Cardiff City. A run of six straight defeats has seen supporters calling for manager Alan Pardew's dismissal, whilst some fans walked out in the 69th minute of today's match at St James' Park in protest. But Keegan says that the problems stem from the very top of the club - namely Ashley. "They've been treated with a total lack of respect," said Keegan when asked about the supporters frustrations. "These are great supporters, you know, and Mike Ashley changed the name of the stadium from St. James’ Park to the Sports Direct Stadium. You know, if he had wanted to know what the worst thing he could have done to upset the fans, that would have been it. "But they are just fed up with him," Keegan told Bein Sports, "and it’s not against Alan Pardew today, it’s not. "They aren’t that happy with Alan because they see him as a bit of a puppet really but I think that’s a bit unfair really. It starts at the top and I once had the pleasure of working for Mike Ashley and it certainly wasn’t that!" And 63-year-old Keegan, who this week declared that he would return for a third stint as manager so long as Ashley was no longer owner, also accused Ashley of buying the north east club, "as a bit of a joke." "The problem that you’ve got is that the fans feel like they’ve been absolutely betrayed and that Mike Ashley is just doing what he wants with the club," added Keegan. "He bought this football club as a bit of a joke with a mate of his. "He phoned up like you would do buying a car, saying, “look, I’ll buy this off you’. "Mike Ashley bought Newcastle just to say, look I’ve bought a football club." Not sure if this has been posted.

Yes ,a lot more so than what has been shown on MOTD highlights etc I watched it on sky sports match choice. They gave it a lot of coverage considering the highlights were about 50mins long. The banners were shown 3-4 times. They mentioned they strange atmosphere about 6 times. They covered the 69 min walk out something to do with the last cup and showed the clock. They showed the stewards being twats and arguing with fans, trying to get banners. They mentioned it was all towards Pardew. They also mentioned how our football was shit. They mentioned we have no rhythm. They also mentioned how cowardly Pardew was by bringing on Taylor when we were at home, winning etc.

Got into an semi argument with a customer today about our situation and even though he's a decent fella and is fairly knowledgeable about football his views on us were fucking frightening tbh. Smacked him down with some facts but even then "we've done OK" apparently. Unbelievable Two weeks ago I was driving back down south from Edinburgh through Newcastle. Anyway I stopped at a service station for a smoke and so the kids could use the toilet. This man comes over and starts asking questions about the hire car I was driving as he wanted one. Just before I left I asked if he supported NUFC. I told him what I and most of us think on here of Pardew expecting a good football conversation. He didn`t like my views and strongly defended Pardew. I couldn`t believe it to be honest, the conversation turned a bit weird, bordering on arguing with a complete stranger. So I started on Ashley instead and he defended him as well. At that point I think we both made our excuses and drove off before we started fighting lol. I was shocked anyone could defend both of them and not be employed by the club. I was reminded of this because I just had the old "Pardew Sacked Dream" followed by the depression of reality. I never dream about football so hopefully its a sign.

That's already apparent if you ask me, but to get someone to go to Ashley or the press. Anything really that usually gets a manager sacked just isn`t going to happen with the type of characters in our squad let alone someone man enough to make Ashley listen.
-
I felt he lost the players as soon as the January window shut without any players coming in. Looking at our squad I can`t think of any character in it to maybe instigate a player revolt, stir things up or put pressure on Pardew. The same as I don`t see a leader out there every week.

Its 89% now. With other chairman I think it would have made a difference, sadly with MA he couldn't give a fuck what anyone thinks. Its so frustrating.

Newcastle United vs Everton, Tuesday 25/03/14 @ 7:45pm (Not on TV)
Rebellious replied to LoveItIfWeBeatU's topic in Football
Mr. Offside the Non-Goalscorer Lee Mason is doing it now -
He won us a fair few free kicks, we just had no one to take them properly. He didn`t stop running and links up well. He would be worth about 5mill to take over Shola and Cisse`s squad position. He seems to be unable to properly take a shot with any power though.

http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/arsenal-trigger-loic-remys-8million-3222436 The France forward has impressed on loan at Newcastle United and Arsene Wenger wants him on board at the Emirates Stadium Arsene Wenger will use an £8million clause in Loic Remy’s contract to gazump Newcastle United for the forward’s signature this summer, writes Neil Moxley of the Sunday People . The France international has a get-out in his agreement that allows him to quit QPR for that figure and the Arsenal boss is poised to pounce. Remy has spent this season on loan with the Tynesiders, jumping ship after the west London team was relegated last term. And Wenger will snatch the forward from under the Geordies’ noses for the cut-price fee by using the lure of Champions League football. Remy’s 13 goals this season have played a major part in pushing Alan Pardew’s men up the Premier League table. And there are growing signs that Lukas Podolski will not be the answer for Arsenal on a long-term basis and Wenger needs extra firepower. Rangers, who posted £65.4m losses this week, will have little say in the matter once the clause has been activated.

All this re-writing history. I just watched 4 more times on the internet. The ball rolls through Pardews legs, as he is lifting his leg out of the way to move aside, Meyler pushes him. As he had one leg off the ground moving aside Pardew was off balance and nearly fell completely. That section of the incident lasts 1 second on the video. That article states Pardew got in his way. Pardew didn`t have a chance to move. He didn`t move in front of Meyler or the ball. Its just the path the ball took. Most of what everybody says I agree with, but some facts have me doubting my own eyes. "Pardew got in his way" - Bollocks he was already standing there " Meyler nudged him" - Bollocks he pushed him off balance, a nudge does not make an adult move. "Pardew headbutted him" - Bollocks, the definition of a headbutt is with force, Pardew acted out a headbutt. "this is a first" - Its also the first time I have seen a player push a manager from an opposing team that hard. What I do agree with is that Pardew is not a good manager and he has disgraced our club again.
