Tried to get one with "Beren" on the back but it was sold out. FFS

Would say so. Not a chance Decent purchases so far and we've barely made a dent on our transfer cash yet. It looks like we've sat down and thought about who we're going to buy, and have realised we need to start spending a bit more money. Three more decent signings and we'll finish top half. You sound like a Mackem

Crikey, he even drives lazily.

Might follow that but not sure about Chelsea. Lower leagues are insanely difficult. Unsure if Chelsea the hunger to retain it.

Antepost time yet for the new season, or waiting for more signings to finalise?

What a game that was.

Rotating Aarons/De Jong may not be a bad idea. Especially as both seem to have had an injury-prone start to their careers here.

Within the realms of possibility (ie. with Colback definitely as a starter), I'd like to see: Krul Janmaat Colo Mbemba Haidara Colback Sissoko Wijnaldum De Jong Perez Mitrovic Perez is a better footballer than Cisse and will contribute more to the creativity of the team, and Mitrovic seems to know the onion bag well as being stronger than a pre-pubescent Hugo Viana - something which Cisse can't say for himself.

Stomach bug seems to have cleared up.

Hope is a killer Honestly, Winegums and YoungKetsbaia aren't even adequate backfill for the inaction shown in previous windows. Our three CBs (yes, three, which is somehow now just the norm) are still Colo, Willo and Tayl...-o. It's a start, I can't deny but there's a long way to go before hope enters the equation. So far, this is the minimum investment required to keep us in the league and get easily-swayed bums back on seats.

Not my favourite by any stretch, but I can see why people like him - he's a big game player.

 I'm looking forward to next year when someone drops £65m on Ross Barkley. The place will implode. Piss off, not worth a drop over £63m.

A real shame about Pogba (from your perspective). You've lacked central midfield quality since Scholes left (the second time). He's not a like-for-like replacement (there's too few like Scholes about in general, and fewer still of anything approaching his calibre) but what a smoother transition Man Utd might have made from the Ferguson era to this one with Pogba to take over from Scholes.

Only thing which will prevent me from putting money on them going down is their board will likely sack him by Christmas

What Ketsbaia said

They've put a £33m bid in for Welbz.

Janmaat and Haidara are pretty good going forward, we've been historically far too easy to play through (circa 2-3 years) and we haven't got any natural width in midfield (from what the current bunch have shown me)... so the diamond makes sense for me. Still a CB or two, and a striker away from being a passable starting XI in the Premiership - and a few more players from being a decent squad. The league is shite though, so maybe I'm talking balls.

Based on not much at all: Striker Perez De Jong Wilnaldjum Sissoko Tiote
