  1. Wanted Man City to win at the start of this game, but now I want them to annihilate Stoke. Such a shit club.
  2. Made a meal of it, but dirty stuff. Oh, twenty-first century football.. what are you like.
  3. He's not a saint, but is he fuck a 14 yellow cards a season player. Victimised by referees because he is stronger than everyone.

    End of Season DVD?

    Addition by Subtraction
  5. Chelsea to win to nil is 10/11 or something. Better value, given: a) we have no attack b) we'll go to defend c) we can't defend especially well without Tiote
  6. You know, I get the impression Sewelly doesn't rate West Ham.
  7. Obinna hasn't looked bad when I've seen him [ ~ admittedly not much].
  8. If we're picking through the bones of relegation candidates already, if we can get him on the cheap, I wouldn't mind Al-Habsi... though way down on my list of priorities.
  9. No, you forgot to disrupt the back four and swap Taylor for Simpson.
  10. I'm not generally a pessimistic bastid before matches with big sides (including before the recent Man Utd (h) game and the Liverpool (a) game) but this season is over, man. The season was over a few games ago for all intensive purposes. This game is a warm down, a write off. I've seen Smith et all outclassed on many occasions before, and by inferior opposition too, you might as well throw give players for the future a taste of what's to come/something to work towards. Ferguson won't be out of position and Tavernier.. well, it'll be an experience for him! Honestly, what's the worst that could happen. We get beat 5-0? Just as likely with Smith (with no match practice/fitness). From an entertainment point of view, I'd probably enjoy getting the chance to see players I haven't seen as much of before too, rather than the last two weeks of a casual-kick-in-the-park stuff.
  11. I'd give some of the kids a go and play an overly-ambitious diamond midfield formation of: Tavernier Barton Ferguson Jonas

    Sunderland...

Just me whose prevalent feeling is one of pity for those two?

    Dan Gosling

Looking forward to seeing what will effectively be like a new signing in pre-season. If any of the management call him "like a new signing" though it'll infuriate fans, of course
  14. Blackpool are defending well. Seems like they might just have gained some Premiership experience just in the nick of time. Might cost them the goals they need to stay up, mind you.
  15. Is this a serious post? Our strikers have been a disaster yet again. They don't provide anything, they don't find space, they give our midfield no options. Defoe and Pav have been utter crap (again). Blackpool have imposed themselves more in the last 15 minutes. Less diagonal punts and you're still playing well though. VdV almost got on the end of Bale's low cross.
  16. Tottenham knocking it about nicely, as you'd expect.
