I'm reading it as Everton have bid for Longstaff and we have floated an idea in response.

So Everton want Longstaff and we have countered with Digne and Sky have reported an outline of the discussion. It wouldn't half help if Digne could go onto Insta and give a thumbs up to the Trippier deal.

Maybe we are just trying to force timescales. Everton need the money and maybe covert Longstaff. If Digne is on £130k PW that doesn't leave many options for him in World Cup year. Maybe signing Trippier and more will change Digne's view. He can't stay at Everton and a loan doesn't suit Everton and FFP.

I don't think there is a conspiracy to get NUFC but I do think there is evidence that referees can an unconscious bias towards top teams, famous players and home players. Nobody ever gets a decision at A field.
