  1. I don't think it is. I think it's a pain in the arse forced on them by uefa and they do it as quietly and as obstinately as they can. They don't email out the minutes or publicise it in any way other than if you go to the website and seek it out. They say as little as possible and with increasing frequency just say "Already answered, look at the minutes from last time". They don't have to it though do they? How well they do it is neither here nor there. Yes they do. Uefa rules. Then penalty of which would be.. a ban from Europe?
  2. I'd say he's our best player, but our most important is Mitrovic. Without him, everything really does fall apart.

  4. I never read anything Ollie Bernard is credited to have written. Total numptey and completely out of touch.

At the end of the day, if you want to support this club in its current form, McClaren is the best manager we'd ever hope to hire. We had to ask him 3 times to join us too. In my opinion it's utterly pointless to discuss his position as we've learnt from 4 years of discontentment under Pardew that normally unacceptable performance levels mean diddly squat to the up-aboves. Either switch off or turn up, it's obvious the opinions of the fans count for shit anyway, why be unhappy about it? Eat what the shit we're shoveled, that's what we've all unwittingly signed up for. Until the entire fan base, and for NUFC this means the whole city, wants rid of Ashley and comes together under one banner then a good relegation scrap is going to be the most exciting thing we can hope for.

He was reserved, said he got more than 1 wrong but was reserved to say anything more. In his Boro days he used to go at them a bit more, but I think he got told off for it a few times. I think inside he is raging as much as we are. When he was coming off the pitch at half time after the players, i thought he was going to get sent to the stands the way he was going at the officials. They actually all stopped walking towards the tunnel and waited for him to start walking again before following. Meek doesn't even begin to describe their demeanor.

Actually looks like he gives a shit in this situation, much more than can be said of Pardew.
  11. He's not good enough on the ball to be a modern day full back. True. But he's generally not going to give soft goals away either. Best of what we've got until we see if Colback can if given a run there imo.
  12. Was Quinn last week too wasn't it? Don't Gary Neville or Alan Smith using co-commentate the 4pm game on Sunday? Yeah Quinn on SS or Owen on BT. Can't win
  13. Struggling to understand why we always get either Niall Quinn or Michael Owen as the pundit alongside the commentator. Not sure whether the blatant biased comments or the underhand, clueless and hateful drivel is worse.
  14. Strange comment. He's at LB in a side who've played most of the game in their opponents half. Been passed to 3 times. Not really strange, he's been wide open numerous times and Colo passes it through the middle to players under pressure. Might be directed to but doesn't mean Dummett wasn't the better option. I saw the same, he's fwd in lots of space and the ball wasn't coming to him. Come on, it's a way of trying to open their midfield up. Has nothing to do with ignoring him. If Dummett's not in the game when we've got the ball it's hard to see how Wij is going to get much of the ball or how we can stretch their team across the width of the pitch to make space for the rest. If the ball only goes mid/right then Sunderland won't bother to defend their right, compacts the game, doesn't make any sense. We don't have the quality to pass through even Sunderland in a compact space.
  15. We'd rather lose the ball than give it to him. Weird. Ssh, ur comment will be labelled strange soon

  17. The team really don't want to pass to Dummett I've noticed.
  18. I had no idea either. Doesn't surprise me in the slightest, strikes me as exactly the sort that would volunteer to put himself in the firing line. Vinne Jones re-incarnate.
  19. Gazza used the same word in adjective form 92 times when describing his all time England XI. Wouldn't think it counts for much tbh.
