Just about every Woltemade to NUFC story is framed as an Isak to Liverpool story. Would love to believe that we've been working on this deal for a while and have been lining up alternative bidders for Isak. But I don't really believe it. Hope someone else comes in with a decent bid before the window. Or better if they sweeten the deal by offering a gem in part exchange.

Thought Chelsea were supposed to be getting away from the kind of crazy salaries that Isak is looking for. I just had thought. They've locked in a lot if talent on long term contracts with lower salaries. How long before they get bitten by one of their own little Isaks.

Some time ago, someone posted something that indicated Isak would take quite a financial hit. Don't know if the numbers were accurate. A few said the figures were quite overblown. It might change the math, but I'd hope that it wouldn't make any difference in Liverpool's case.
