This place after every Harvey Barnes appearance.

Quick, turn it back on.

Do they have an option to buy? He's going to look double the fool when Jackson shines and they have to return him to Chelsea. What did their 13.5 buy them? A Bundeliga title they were going to win anyway.

Just about every review I read of his performances seems dismissive. The best you can hope for is a kind of back-handed compliment: "With Kyle Walker hopefully out of the England picture there is room for a defender who relies hopelessly and hilariously on his pace when covering. The natural heir to that throne is obviously the nimble Burn, who twice repelled Andorra attacks after poor passes out of defence simply by standing still and being large. A better attack exploits those situations, a couple of which Burn created with sub-optimal choices and worse execution. England have never conceded with him on the pitch, though. What a six months he’s having." The second some mediocre talent emerges at one of the Big 6 clubs, there will be many pushing for his ouster.

oh, please. Sports Direct Arena at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Oh, just remembered Damien Duff. Hated him too.

Always hated Lee Bowyer. Retroactively despise Joey Barton.

Who was the supposed target?

Guess that means Glasner won't be going to Man United this season then... Nah, the minute Amorim is out the door he'll be packing his bags. Probably before that.

But they spent all that money on Diaz ffs. And they were in for Wirtz. They must have assumed Woltemade would soon be available on the cheap. He's prospect anyway, let him get experience at Stuttgart. Thought "He'll be there for them when we're ready."

Even if you paid £50m, the transfer --at worst-- will be nowhere near your worst. He's decent. He's not Onana. Villa aren't selling him for £18m.

How else are we supposed to judge whether transfer was was mental? He's a headcase to be sure, but this a relatively low risk bet.
