Your toughest match before the final will be Germany at Wembley IMO. Still not convinced. -

Meanwhile, Belgium would probably have to go through Portugal, Italy, and France just to reach the final. -
All sarcasm aside I feel the same way … if they’d have us (US). What’s an optimal number? 12? Would 16 work? I can’t see omitting Costa Rica, but things start getting pretty thin in concacaf after that. Mexico, US, Costa Rica, Honduras, Panama, and Canada/Jamaica.

They could add Suriname and one of Guyana/French Guiana. All three are in South America, but belong to CONCACAF. That'll give them 12.

Having to watch both Russia and Finland in the round of 16.

Belgium win and Denmark win by two goals puts Denmark through in second place.

Why didn't uefa require vaccinations for all players? Or the various FAs? Madness. -
Re: Spain, shadow of their former selves. Yes. Still reckon they win this group.

How is that not worthy of its own thread?

And Italy looked great against those world beaters Turkey and Switzerland, playing both at home. De Bruyne has played one half of football. They brought him on and over powered the Danes, who admittedly dominated the first half. -

The last time Germany and Hungary played a competitve match was the 1954 World Cup final. Nothing but friendlies since then.

Even in "transtion" Germany are better than most. Clearly capable of beating the best of teams.

ESPN has most of it. Some on ESPN2 and ABC. Cord cutters can get it with ESPN+, which is available pretty cheaply.

I was at Chile 7 Mexico 0. Seeing Mexican fans lose it and throw beer is a fond memory now. Treasure it forever.

Promotion and relegation between the three leagues.

Italy have three home games in the group. Not sure how great of an advantage that will be for Italy, Germany, Denmark, and England.
