  1. Yeah she came across as a completely defeatist idiot tbh. Pretty much representative of the entire club staff. She saw right through those clowns. Could barely disguise her contempt. Her role in the series was comparable to that of Tim on The Office. Needed more shots of her "breaking the fourth wall"
  2. Me, you, Ant and Dec, David Beckham, Tiger Woods and the four good Spice Girls to name a few There was only 1 Spice Girl born in '75 and she's off her fucking box. Looked this up as well. Couldn't figure out which were the good ones.
  3. Thought the same thing. When dangermouse is the voice of reason, it's really bad.
  4. Thanks Mike! I am going to repost this video because it features one of the best defenders in the world talking about how Rafa is an incredible coach. The Rafa talk starts at 5:45. Who do you want to rebuild a club from the ground up? (Of course, we haven't a chance in hell of attracting the likes of Koulibaly. Don't believe it.)
  5. Sean Ingle published the first story on May 11, and now a new one. What exactly is new?
  6. Marca say “No”. https://www.marca.com/en/football/international-football/2019/12/04/5de7830e22601d6e4b8b45f0.html Someone, maybe you?, keeps posting that Chinese law stipulates that he can just walk away. I’m dubious. Keep hoping that somebody back the idea up.
  7. Preferred the anniversary prototype with newcastle coat of arms. The faded hoops don't work for me.
  8. Rondon is a known quality. He has good relationships with Rafa, other players, and the fans. I don't know what kind of money we'll have to spend in the window. Maybe we'll have 'money to burn', maybe not. I do think that Rondon is a great value that will serve the club well as a target man, off the bench, in Cup games, whatever.
  9. If Rafa came back, I'd be happy if he brought Rondon back with him; finish his career here.
  10. We'll be able to close this thread; open a new one titled "Transfer Targets". Soon.
  11. Koulibaly speaks at length about Rafa. Worth a view.
  12. Monty magpie gets my vote.
  13. How reliable is the transfermarket site? They've got Havertz at 72.9m. Ouch.
  14. Yeah none of them score enough goals though. Would look amazing running and dribbling, but in terms of end product ? I think the "proper striker" bit is key. Say Ronaldo 96-97. Have you just plucked possibly the best season from one of the three greatest players of all time and said "that's what we need"? Yeah.

  16. For what it's worth this is way out of date, Hamburg, Stuttgart, Hannover and Nurenberg aren't in the Bundesliga Yes. "Are you interested in winning?" sets a beeline to Werder. The diagram is from 2004.
