  1. Watford 0-1 Citeh (Vasell 53)
  2. TABLE AS IT STANDS AT HALF TIME Newcastle 34 / 41 Middlesbr 34 / 39 Fulham.... 35 / 38 (1-0 v Blackburn) Wigan...... 35 / 35 (0-1 v Liverpool) Sheff Utd 35 / 35 (0-0 v Charlton) Charlton . 35 / 33 (0-0 v Sheff Utd) West Ham 35 / 32 (1-0 v Everton) Watford .. 35 / 24 (0-0 v Man City )
  3. And our league position goes down at the same time...
  4. now for the relegation battle matches: Charlton vs Sheff U West H vs Everton Watford vs Man C Fulham vs Blackburn Liverpool vs Wigan
  5. That result should pretty much seal the 4th and final champs league spot for Arsenal.
  6. Shots at goal.. 16-6 to Arsenal... With Spurs personally being my most disliked team in football after the mackems, im happy with this result mackems.gif
  7. And who will buy them?? The problem is that we pay Top 5 Team wages, but non of the other 4 teams who can afford to pay out so much, would be interested in taking any of them on. If a mediocre team wanted to buy any, we'd have to continue to pay 50% of their wage! Who in the PL would pay Dyer £80k a week for what you get out of him? Who in the PL would want Carr and Baba, and pay what we are paying them - £30-40k each? Fair enough, maybes Emre will have some interested buyers, and possibly Luque, but Luque has basically been on the market for the last year, and nobody has shown any concetre interest apart from PSV who cant afford his wages...
  8. Agree with that... also unlucky as f*ck in Milan vs Inter.
  9. You're being too short sighted Dave, don't forget if we had kept Ferrdinand we'd never have seen Ian Rush pull on the Black & White shirt, every cloud has a silver lining. mackems.gif hahaha Nice one! LMAO! mackems.gif

Quality... Probably realised how awful the players around him are, and has since given up trying and had a sh*t season himself!
  13. Ferdinand Wasnt heartbroken at Cole, as Keegan signed more than adequate replacements, Watson, Elliott, Hughes, Bellamy, Robert etc, were all decent players, but IMO not title winners, the problem of their sales were that we didnt replace them well.
  14. Before Robsons sacking, the season before was pretty bad. We finished 5th, when the league is as it is now, 4 good teams at the top, then 10 mediocre teams. Somehow we won the mediocre league and came 5th. Robson should have gone in the summer, and i wonder if we would have installed a decent manager at that point, rather than the tragedy which would be Souness 3months later. 1 Manchester United 38 / 83 2 Arsenal 38 / 78 3 Newcastle United 38 / 69 RUN-IN: Sat 11 May West Brom 2-2 Newcastle Sat 04 May Newcastle 1-0 Birmingham Sat 26 Apr Sunderland 0-1 Newcastle Mon 21 Apr Newcastle 1-1 Aston Villa Sat 19 Apr Fulham 2-1 Newcastle Sat 12 Apr Newcastle 2-6 Man United Sun 06 Apr Everton 2-1 Newcastle Sat 22 Mar Newcastle 5-1 Blackburn Sat 15 Mar Charlton 0-2 Newcastle Wed 05 Mar Middlesbrough 1-0 Newcastle Sat 01 Mar Newcastle 2-1 Chelsea Sat 22 Feb Leeds 0-3 Newcastle Sun 09 Feb Newcastle 1-1 Arsenal Wed 29 Jan Tottenham 0-1 Newcastle Yep, looking at that, it was the Everton away match, where Robert hit that screamer from the left wing, and Gravsen tried to disable Bernard that changed things.
  15. Bramble to have a half decent performance and only cost us one goal, and Roeder will be able to justify giving him a new 3yr contract, and us toon fans have 3 more years of winning nowt to look forward to (tho weve probably got that anyway!)
  16. Just been watchin some videos on 'another site', jeeez we were good in that 02/03 season. Brings back some memories, i basically watched every game of that season in a bar in Finland, and altho noone really mentioned us, i always thought quietly we could win the league. The turning game was Arsenal 1-1 at SJP, where Robert put us back on terms before that dirty tw8t Bergkamp got Robert purposely sent off, if he hadnt have been, i think we would have went on to win that game. Obviously the 6-2 vs manure was the nail in the coffin, such as shame esp after jeen-arse put us 1-0 up.
  17. just watched it...aaaah, we were good then!

few year back i saw the toon french possie in 'Sea'... Distin and Bernard in particular were trying to get inside every lasses knickers in there, and to be fair every lass in there seemed to want them to be in their nickers. Distin promised he would sign for the toon in the summer to my mate (and obviously went to citeh) Also saw Dyer leading Wayne Quinn and a child like Jenas past the massive queue, straight to the bouncers and in... Mikey Hooper in Durham every night of the week Apart from footy players, i seem to bump into Glenn Mccrory in various airports around the world, each month, usually with us both wrecked.

    Messi...

Should have squared it to Eto'o tbh.
  22. Luque Solano Gooch Taylor Carr Milner Butt Emre N'Zogbia Carroll Martins
  23. Looks like this could be the nail in the hammers coffin. They will need at least 7pts from their next 3 games (Everton-H, Wigan-A, Bolton-H)to stay up, as their last match is at old trafford.
