  1. Most clubs squads weren't thinner than paper to start off with though.
  2. Weird kind of player as i wouldn't say he has any stand out qualities, just good at everything, not too disimilar to Frank Lampard in a Chelsea shirt in that way. (obviously different kind of players though)
  3. I didn't really notice him, that's why I was asking. Suppose everyone was busy jizzing off over Ozil. I thought Muller had a better tournament, but he's not been linked with anyone. Couldn't look more German if he tried either. Nowt bent about that Boateng transfer at all. Bloody Italians. Preziosi explains Boateng transfer http://www.football-italia.net/aug17q.html What's Milan's squad like re 25/foreigners/etc? The loan system seems to be rendering the regulations meaningless. Milan have a boatload of Italians.
  4. Would have him here in a flash.
  5. Good thing if we sign Bullard will be that he is woefully short of match practise too.
  6. Love it. Started by a fella called "Kiddybloke"! Should be on the sex offenders register that lad. Aye he definitely won't be from Kidderminster. Hoepfully a few pick up knocks in the Waffa Cup game tonight.
  7. Don't rate him and can't see him being a target for opposition as he isn't the strongest.
  8. Just stepped down, will stay in the role until a replacement is found though.
  9. Neither are 'home grown' - I suppose that's what they need. Keep Ireland/Bellamy, job done.
  10. Never heard of Hatem Ben Arfa anyways. Sounds a bit foreign for my liking.
  11. City obviously don't know that you won't win anything with a team of James Milners. They could have bought Khedira and Ozil for the same price n all. Absolute fucking madness.
  12. Good to Nacional v Penarol getting in on the act in that article, not that id class it as top 10 like but still. Flu v Fla is huge in Brasil, Racing v Independiente is the other huge one in Arg although there are a so many 'derbies' in Argentina its untrue with over half the league coming for Bs As, Allianza v La U in Peru. Just reading on wiki that at the Asuncion derby they split the ground 50/50 - bet thats a class atmosphere! I'd absolutely love to go to Boca v River like, would have to be at La Bombonera though.
  13. Thiago Silva and Pato are the only players that would get anywhere near the Barca team that i can think of. Also Milan would be struggling with Zibras wages as they're not doing to grand financially.
  14. Nowt bent about that Boateng transfer at all. Bloody Italians.
  15. Hopefully Anderlecht pop a few past Partizan tonight. The bastards.

Good job they cleared up which Santos that was. I thought it might have been the one in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. I assume nowt has happened apart from the above statement, cant be fucked trawling through the spastic shite.
  17. Fulham have signed Moussa Dembele on a 3yr deal. Dervite from Spurs gone to Villareal
  18. Suprises me that. Thought it would've been near enough a full house.
  19. Sun (i know, i know) claiming City and Cardiff are sharing wage costs 50/50.
  20. According to everything I've read, no. With him, Given, and N'Zogbia potentially moving thats a fair chunk of potential cash we've missed out. Should just stick a mandatory 10% in whoever we sell IMO. Money for nowt at the end of the day.

Good wages, great stadiums/atmospheres, pretty competitive (Bayern aside maybe), nice place to live, don't see why anyone wouldn't want to move tbh.
  22. Eugh Ashley Young v James Perch, hopefully he remember to show him the line instead of letting him cut in all day like he did with Nani. 0-1 goal from a pen.

    Poor dinner guest.
  24. Aye, I am surprised by the LB thing, although signing a player who is prepared to be back-up to a player as young as Enrique is obviously a challenge. But then again we were equally threadbare in other positions before we made some decent signings. With Taylor's fitness we were in need of at least 1 CB, and before the signing of Routledge we had zero right wingers. I'm not saying we've been amazing in the transfer market, but with the low budget we've set ourselves we have managed to make some decent additions. Fingers crossed for the rest of the window. Can only imagine we'll play Perch, Simpson or Kadar out of position should the unfortunate happen.
