Joe Lewis who Capello rated highly enough to call up into the senior team from League One well over a year ago. Now he's behind Fielding who afaik has never played a league game. I don't care what he's done in club football but Capello blatantly hasn't got a fucking clue what he's doing and has no clear pecking order or selection criteria whatsoever. Probably just called him up because he was already 'on duty' like rather than pulling an extra player from their club at short notice, thats more or less what happened with Lewis.

Wages would be a huge problem. I'd love to see him back.
