  1. Don't get cocky, last time we won we were probably underdogs and shocked them. Same applies this time round me thinks. Best way to be.
  2. Despite what I already knew and liked about him myself, upon reading that 'in a nutshell' description, it just makes me realise that our chances of signing him are slim. Yeah, pretty much. From what I saw of him I'd be astonished if we had any sort of chance. Nobody's bid, so by that logic we have just as much a chance as anyone else at this exact moment. Kazeiro I fucking love your avatar. Last year we had Shola eating an apple on a bike, this year with the boxing gloves. I can't wait to see what next season will bring Needless fouls, running in treacle, jumping lower than he stands tall & injuries. The normal stuff I would assume
  3. Peter? Aye. Good addition for the Azzurri. Been the best the player IMO in the two games I've played where he's been on the field. Very happy with the addition, although would still want Stu in the team to run the midfield. Is Peter an out and out forward or does he play elsewhere? I can't remember if he was up top at SJP the whole time. Is Stu still coming along? Could manage the team from the sidelines which would be a boost, rather than someone trying to play and concentrate on subs etc. He played RW and latterly uptop on Saturday. With him in the team I can't see you's not winning tbh. As a striker was what you were what you lacking.
  4. Moderation ain't what it used to be in this place like.

  6. I think Stu has dropped out (so i've been told anyway, he's not actually replied to me whenever i've asked...), meaning that'd be 14 against 12. So we're gonna have to nick a Red (who's had no previous alliance). So that's one from Davey, Heza, Kev, Disco and Chris. With Kev being the latest addition to either squad, i quite fancy pinching him. Just so we're even numbers init. FYP and aye Stu spackered his hammy v PNE so unless he is off getting some sheep placenta or whatever I'd be suprised if he could play.
  7. I've got a shitty Umbro one, Stu has a couple of NOFC Jambayala balls n all. Good work. Means I can have a nice lie in with the pitch being in spunking distance of my gaff.
  8. Linked with Bob Bradley today too. Both potentially brilliant appointments.

  10. Its no suprise that the better pundits who could offer insight were still or had been recently involved in football unlike the absolute dickheads like Townsend, Bright, Hansen et al.

    Fraser Forster

Burnley boss Brian Laws is planning transfer talks with a new goalkeeper on Wednesday as he looks to further bolster his squad. As revealed by skysports.com last weekend, Burnley have lined up a season-long loan deal for Newcastle shot-stopper Fraser Forster. Talks are believed to be at an advanced stage with Burnley just waiting for Newcastle to give the green light to let Forster go out on loan. Laws has made no secret of his desire to sign another keeper to provide further competition for Brian Jensen and he hopes to have the new man on board before the Clarets fly out for their three-match trip to Singapore. "I said on Saturday that we hoped to have further progress and I have done," said Laws. "We have been in contact again and I am meeting the player on Wednesday. Hopefully we can get everything signed, sealed and delivered for our tour on Saturday. "Fingers crossed, the talks and everything else will go well. Barring any disasters we are feeling pretty confident."
  12. Can see it being a bit Holland (us) v Spain (thee). We're going to need to get stuck in otherwise it could be all too easy.
  13. And Particks away kit is bold. http://www.footballshirtculture.com/images/stories/partick-thistle-09-10-puma-away-kit.jpg
  14. We definitely seem to have been short changed compared to everyone else by Puma. Agree with Jill the Reading one is smart. £10 cheaper than ours n all and has stitched Reading badge and puma. Is plain blue on the back. Partick one is £30.

    Frey on the move?
  17. Nobby still got that rape charge over him? Him and Pearson obviously have a mutual respect.
  18. Don't know why they weren't scheduled to be away anyway as they said this would be the case a while back.
  19. His late sub appearance v us in Champions League when they won 0-2 must've been one his first for Barca.
