  1. Could well just be coincidence that Keegan and Beardsley aside all of our best players have been centre forwards.
  2. Classic purchasing players to stop others having them. Donovan will go down in everyones estimation if he goes to City. Utterly pointless transfer.
  3. good lord. Thats really made me chuckle.
  4. As long as its worn by our starting centre forward I don't care.
  5. He'd obviously get in our team but I don't rate Mathieu Flamini that highly. Fucked himself over going to Milan n all.

    Sunderland...

There are so many flaws in that story its untrue. Bendtner won't leave, BVB don't need strikers nor could they afford his fee/wages, Wenger doesn't like players who can't play "football" or buying players for grossly large fees when they are cheaper (Chamakh - who he has already bought) alternatives.
  7. How are Madrid going to line up next season? Casillas New RB Ramos Albiol New LB L.Diarra Alonso CR9 Kaka Di Maria Higuain
  8. Cheers fellas, sounds good.
  9. Still think its lunacy to move Ramos back to the centre.
  10. Phillip Degen free to leave Liverpool - could be worth a punt (obvs won't happen) http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/l/liverpool/8840878.stm
  11. 23 goals in 101 games in England. Got the touch of a rapist n all.

Agree with that. It's going to be Wigan and Wolves most likely who we'll need to better in the battle to stay up and any weakening of their teams is good news for us. I think Wolves will be fine, Blackpool & Wigan are almost certs imo. Think if we can finish above WBA again that'll do it for us. I think Wolves will be as well but from the teams already in the Prem I'd still say they have the second weakest squad so you can never be too sure.
  14. Limited knowledge of foreign newspapers but i think apart from Bild, that i can think of, nothing comes close to tabloids here.

  16. Wouldn't be suprised. 80's hair rock is unbelievably popular over there.
  17. Argentine equivilant of the Sun/Mirror unfortunately.
  18. I know he's not. He has no guile at all unforunately. Meant more someone to place off the big man - poacher or '10'.
  19. I don't think Hughton was in the market for a 'traditional number 9' anyway. A second striker/new Lovenkrands i think we'd buy if we were buying a forward.
  20. Only listen to the podcast version, but it's great. All the pundits on it are class, put most 'experts' to shame with their knowledge. Where can one find this? Sounds right up my street.
  21. Vickery is one of the few journos I actually have any time for, always find that his pieces are interesting and avoid falling into patronising. Always a good read his column, one of the few on the BBC that are. Has an unbelievably good job, lucky swine.
  22. He will score if he gets chances but its whether he'll get those chances at Wigan. At Estudiantes he had the best midfield playmaker in South America playing behind him. Don't rate him massively personally but will be interesting none the less.
  23. I'd fucking piss my pants with excitement if we got Bellers back. More chance of me lining up for us next season unfortunately though.
  24. The South American football expert at the BBC expects Boselli to flop.
