SWP isn't that bad. He was the only player against Japan who looked like he wanted to move about and cause them problems. Heskey is the true puzzle. He is totally useless and will get booked plenty as he is too clumsy and physical for international referees. His hold up play isn't as good as his fans claim and he can't shoot for shit. He's terrible man. Head down run forward is about all he can do, ignoring the fact there are 3 others (Lennon, Milner, Cole) who can play that position more than adequately.
-
SWP over Johnson is a real puzzler for me. The fact Johnson gets in the City team ahead of him should be the clue.
-
I wonder (say since 1966) how many of their players have represented England at a major tournament, or even got caps during qualifying. Sewpa Kev aside and not sure if he featured in any proper games I can't think of any.
-
Why they can't just announce the fucking squad and be done with it like.
-
Better than transfer deadline day this shit.
-
The Power of the Game sounds canny.
-
No natural LW but four or five who've played RW regularly - surely Johnson offers more than SWP.
-
Surely this iß costing the club money? Also, what's the point of denying transfer rumours? The emails to the papers (the Sun and Mirror have also had them apparently) are from some law firm in London, so won't come cheap. All the emails demand that rertractions are printed in the papers. Haven't seen any so far...... This seems an extremely odd way to be acting if indeed it is true.

pre 11pm today so probably sometime this afternoon.

I'd have him and Walcott there personally and sack off SWP who is a fucking joke of a player. Couldn't even get in the City team towards the end of the season.
-
Walcott dropped according to Oliver Kays twitter.

Benni McCarthy not at the world cup. Of all the seasons not to discover steak bakes. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/jun/01/world-cup-group-a-africa

Used to run coaches from all over the show in the SE when they were in the Prem. Remember a lad at uni from Basingstoke saying CAFC were putting buses on. Mackemesque.

and it is not the shocking English. Whoopy fuking doo i put him instead of have. You'd pay what Manu would want for him (say £12m+) plus £80kpw would you? Now that's laughable. Changing the parameters but yes he'd walk into most teams, particularly ours.

Its a press thing mainly i think. It really annoys me, he does the same thing over and over but the way its reported is completely different. Fair play like as it works.

Eh? Which part did you not understand? Nothing, just seemed an unusual thing to comment on. Why? I lived around there for a while, and Crystal Palace were the nearest club. Just that there are two clubs within 11 miles of Selhurst Park. Its not like say Carlisle have gone bust for example.

I seem to remember a London 5aside competition in the early 90's featuring then current players. Used to be pretty good.

Eh?

North East one on 7th July. Newcastle, Sunderland, Boro, Carlisle, Rangers, Celtic - bit wank how the Scots have hijacked it.

There is a good documentary on Heysel kicking about on the net somewhere. The Day Football Died its called.
-
I'd be suprised if he starts more than 10 games. Back up behind Saha and the Yak and Everton rarely play with more than 1 striker as is the strength and depth of their midfield. Not a player I'd want upfront on his own from what limited I've seen of him.
-
Does that mean someone else takes their place or does the Championship run with 23 teams. Fucking devastating if you're a Palace fan like. Still I'm sure there'll be plans to form a new AFC Palace or whatnot.
