SJP tbh. Moar seats.
Something not quite right about playing a friendly at home to lower league oppo plus with two more glamourous friendlies it isn't likely to sell out whereas prob get a 30K full house down at Ipswich.
Why would they sell one of their best players to one of their main rivals instead of abroad. Surely just keep him would be easier? Unless they have some new lad i am unaware of.
What about the guy in your avatar??? ;-)
Although Croatia are decent I'd be amazed if they got to the last 4. Eduardo will be a big loss and outside of Croatia they aren't nearly as good as they are at home.
I'd be happy as it would mean it'd be easy to get to although I'd have less chance of getting a ticket. Imagine lifting the UEFA Cup there n all. Would be immense. Stick it right up them SMBs.
Why? So they don't wreck the town afterwards?!?!?!
Didn't last time they were down.
Couple of alreet friendlies I guess, we going on a foreign tour of anywhere n all?
Good point, tbh.
Likely to happen in future though when final is in Rome and Madrid (2010). How the fuck Rome gets it is beyond me with the multitude of stabbings/incidents in recent European games there.
Maybe in the World cup qualifiers?
01-02/06/08: Uganda v Niger
01-02/06/08: Angola v Benin
06-08/06/08: Niger v Angola
06-08/06/08: Benin v Uganda
13-15/06/08: Niger v Benin
13-15/06/08: Uganda v Angola
20-22/06/08: Benin v Niger
20-22/06/08: Angola v Uganda
Angola would be the only game against half decent players.
Though are Wise/Keegan/Vetere/Hughton properly vaccinnated for a trip to Africa?
How the fuck do we know!
Where's an ITK when you need one?
As long as it has the required number of 5* jobs to house them, they don't give a f***.
I thought the number of hotel rooms was one of the reasons why Newcastle failed to get a UEFA Cup Final.

Needs to comply with this list. Hotels down the bottom.
But it's OK for a Russian team to have to travel to the UK for a final? Can't have it both ways IMO.
It is a hell of a lot easier to get the UK from abroad I think you'll find. No visa costs, reletively good infrastructure once your here. Manchester isn't one of the most expensive places in the world either. Plus all the 'ticket' companies offering packages haven't help keep the prices down.
