All came up Disco today. Stan won 3-0 in the FA Cup and into the first QR. Whitley won 3-0 against Carlisle to go clear at the top of NL1 and Heed get a good away win in the Conference (first goal an absolute pearler). Spartans losing again in the cup doesn’t bode well after an already shit start.

Thought it was a little odd we didn’t really change up how we attacked at any point especially given the lack of focal point albeit I thought Gordon led the line well enough. Yes I know he had that good chance he should have buried but it seemed to get to the point in the second half, after a hatful of over hit crosses, they gave up on it totally but still persisted with looking for the overloads out wide but then ending up just passing it infront of them after declining to throw it in. Guess they defended pretty well and deep which contributed but thought we might have tried something a little different at times.
