    Bale signs for Spurs

I have to say as irritating as I find a lot of Spurs fans, not necessarily you MJ, although sometimes you do try my patience ... I do admire the way your club goes about it's business. Tying up players sso early in the window it is untrue! I absolutely love that! By the time everyone resumes for training they have all already gotten used to the idea and probably moved into and settled in the area. Is it any wonder they then go on to perform at such a good level once the season kiscks off? Sam my man, I lvoe you big guy, but can we please get this show on the road? Agree with you KaKa. Spurs are going in the right direction and signing players at this time will help them when the season starts because their new players will be setlled.
  2. SJH didn't put any money into the club save the odd loan (and of course shares) and neither did Shepherd. The money for Shearer came from banks who were paid back by... us lot. In fact every brick holding up St. James' Park and every player at the club is paid for by us lot. OK.He found money to buy Shearer Still he had some ambition and wanted Newcastle to be successful. We must give him credit for that.
  3. businessmans are what they are because they aim to make money from everything. We cant blame him for making money for himself. Did alot of good for the club. He brought KK to the club and Alan Shearer Im curious what was CG opinion about him when SJH gave 15m and we bought Shearer?
  4. So we should keep players on now because we have made mistakes on the past?? Thats some good change management, that. No we should stop pretending that certain players aren't worthy of respect from the fans of this shithouse club, when clearly they have done a good job when no other cunt could be persuaded to come here you think player who is scoring 1 goal in 4 games is doing a good job??? and also it was Roeder's fault that he didnt managed to persuade someone better to come here and waited for the last moment to get Sibierski.

    Distin Rejection?

imagine the new owner giving Big Sam 50m to spend(25 from the TV rights and 25 from him) I think we will be able to afford to buy players who are reall class. Shit like Ramage wont last too long
  6. What more do we need to know, other than he isn't good enough? Please explain to me why he isnt good enough? Or do you actually have no clue about him at all but because we didnt win enough games under Roeder he must be shit? the team he picked against Watford says it all tbh Pattison ahead of Zoggy and Luque... Zog was acting the twat and Luque won't be here next season. what possible reason was there to play either of them? edt: don't bother, just realised who posted it and you know this from where exactly? and the reason is:because they are miles better then him.

    Distin Rejection?

puyol, nesta, ramos, danny alves,mexes... the sky is the limit ;D
  9. atm he is not even worth the 8m they spend on him
  10. This. I think we can agree from the tone of that article Clarkie is secure - but the part in bold is unsubstantiated supposition with no quotes or anything firmer than "likely" and "seems to be" Can't see Terry Mac being given a job by Allardyce unless Shepherd made it a term of Big Sam's employment, which I think we can count out given the "free reign" line with regards to staff... Agree with you. Allardyce told Clark he wants to work with him but said nothing about Pearson and Tery Mac. Actually i would be very surprised if Allardyce decided to work with Pearson Im expecting his assistent manager to be someone who he has worked before. Ultimately this artcle doesnt say Pearson and Mac are staying for sure. Only speculations and guessing.
  11. He is football player not a rock star.
  12. That's absurd - the only reason Owen didn't suffer the hamstring injuries that have plagued his entire career is because he was unable to run due to the major injuries you described! He's had a torn ACL - you can't say "Oh, Owen must be over his hamstring problems because he hasn't injured them for the past year!" What is absurd is he is still banging on about Owen having 2 injuries here. He was injured every other game played before the 2 big injuries! Are you sure about that?
  13. That's absurd - the only reason Owen didn't suffer the hamstring injuries that have plagued his entire career is because he was unable to run due to the major injuries you described! He's had a torn ACL - you can't say "Oh, Owen must be over his hamstring problems because he hasn't injured them for the past year!" Fair enough but the point of this argument was who is bigger injury prone Owen or Babayaro. So far when you compare their careers at nufc i think Babayaro wins it with his constant hamstring and groin injuries. Also Owen is 1 year younger then Babayaro but still he made about 40 appearances more then Babayaro at club level. Yes,Owen can be described as injury prone but between the two Babayaro wins this contest without any real competition

    Craig Moore

    good description
  15. Where did i said he didnt Since Owen is nufc player he never had hamstring injuries and groin injuries He had broken foot and ruptured anterior cruciate knee ligament. From this can you assume he is injury prone? Owen played something like 6-8 games in his first half season here, before he broke any bones. Thats 6-8 games out of ~30 games before he clashed into lard boy Robinson. My point still stands that players who constantly suffers from groin and hamnstring problems can be called injury prones and players who had broken their foot and had ruptured anterior cruciate knee ligament are just suffering from bad luck. From Owen's 2 injuries here you cant call him injury prone can you?
  16. true but Sibierski genuine ability isnt good enough while we have some very talented ,full of potential players who are underperforming due to different reasons
  17. What a plonker wum.. You certainly believe everything you read it seems. His backroom staff have proven to be good enough in the past and he has built up a solid friendship/working relationship with them over a number of years. You can buy in some of the best staff in the world but theres no gurantee they'll all like each other and gel as a unit at a new club. Some of the Bolton staff are also coming to the end of their contracts right now so its no harm in asking if they're available. In any case, don't you want Newcastle to become successful? I'd love to know what you'd do in his position right now. kill himself
  18. Where did i said he didnt Since Owen is nufc player he never had hamstring injuries and groin injuries He had broken foot and ruptured anterior cruciate knee ligament. From this can you assume he is injury prone? And the case with Babayro is just the opposite. He had only hamstring and groins So which one is bigger injury prone? Owen or Babayaro? Think again
  19. 25 games=6 goals for Kluivert Ah right, so you use 17 goals for Martins (ie, his UEFA Cup goals too), but ignore Kluivert's (not forgetting his FA Cup goals). That's fair. You must have expected an idiotic response. The record book states he played 25 games and scored 13 goals. Not bad. 6 goals in the premiership though mackems.gif 11 goals in 32 PL games for Martins 6 goals in 15 PL games for Kluivert Do the calculation, since you like to work from statistics. Kluiverts all round game was better as well. Did i say something about Kluivert and Martins matter I only pointed how many goals Kluivert had. Genius...
  20. Owen's last injury was ruptured anterior cruciate knee ligament. Babayaro is suffering mostly of hamstring injuries and groin injuries There is some difference in this.
  21. Babayaro? Yes the almighty and fit Babayaro who is playing 2 games and after that is injured for the next 10 and thats how his season is going all the way.

  23. Competing with Babayaro for biggest injury prone player at nufc
