The point of this argument is that Butt is not the only midfielder in our team who can defend So feck off

And do you think he is the only one in our midfield who can defend? Parker gets pulled out of position too much for me, chasing the ball everywhere like a park dog. Parker's good at tackling but he should think about what he's doing more. Emre harries but can't tackle. Zog is good at tracking back and intercepting a ball going to his opposite FB. Essentially, Butt is the only one of the CM's who defends effectively imo. Cant agree. If that was the case then how are you going to comment on this stats? Parker has Highest Tackling rate and Highest Tackling Success rate- in the Premiership and at our club -Nufc Opta Stats- Tackling Player Tackles Tackle Success rate% 1 Scott Parker 162 79.0% 2 Nicky Butt 93 66.7% Also see this: Nufc Opta Stats- Passing Player Passes Pass Success rate % 1 Scott Parker 1,121 79.0% 2 Nicky Butt 975 72.7%

This is a good thing? You'd get absolutely murdered. Every fucking week. If this organization creates their own European Super league the money they will recieve will be enormous. And every week Newcastle will be playing with clubs like Milan,Inter,Barca,Real Madrid while Manchester City will be playing with the likes of Birmingam,Sunderland,Wigan and Fulham Still think its not a good thing to be involved in this? Prefer to see my team win a game occasionally thanks.... Any supporter who prefers his team to play with teams like Wigan,Fulham and Birmingam instead of teams like Milan,Barca,Inter and Real Madrid is a very confused person What would you rather watch: Barcelona 8-1 Newcastle or Newcastle 2-1 Everton ? Dont confuse Newcastle with Man City mate

Internazionale (Italy) Juventus (Italy) A.C. Milan (Italy) Liverpool F.C. (England) Manchester United (England) Olympique de Marseille (France) Paris Saint-Germain (France) Bayern Munich (Germany) Borussia Dortmund (Germany) Ajax (Netherlands) PSV (Netherlands) Porto (Portugal) Barcelona (Spain) Real Madrid (Spain) Arsenal (England) Olympique Lyonnais (France) Bayer Leverkusen (Germany) Valencia (Spain) The members so far... The criteria with stadium capacity above 50,000 is stupid because teams like Leverkusen,Paris Saint-Germain and PSV have stadiums with less capacity Nevertheless its good thing if we are invited there alongside teams like Barca,Real Madrid,Milan,Inter,Juventus and Valensia I wouldnt mind if they create their own European Super league and we are in it ;D Can anyone guess the other 17 new teams that are going to be invited in? My guess is:FC Schalke 04,VfB Stuttgart,Hamburger SV maybe Werder Bremen,Sevilla FC,Roma,Lazio,Benfica,Sporting Lisbon,AEK Athens FC,maybe Olympiacos,Fenerbahçe S.K.,Spartak Moscow and maybe CSKA Moscow,Celtic,Rangers Newcastle Thats 17 clubs

Correct, Emre isn't any good at defending at all. From reading stuff written by people who go to away games it seems he's no good at anything in away games and only does something in home games. Generally that is. Perhaps geordiesned will pipe up here since he goes to away games? Or anyone else? If this is true, then ultiimately Emre needs to go as well but I'd shift Parker first because he's just a liability and a big lead weight around how the team plays. BTW the only midfield/attacker we have who can defend at all is Butt and there are some on here who wouldn't even select him. :uglystupid2:
-
He was interested in moving to Italy as far as i can remember Inter were interested in him. We dont have a chance with him.
-
We will see how much money Shepherd will give him in the summer for transfers
-
Solano-been at the club for very long time.Seems to be the person everyone would respect and listen.Always giving 100% for the club.I think he should be made captain for next season.2nd choice is Given for the same reasons. Butt might not be 1st team player next season
-
Agree with you. The main blame is for the people on the Juventus board not the players, fans and coaches. The italian league is the most corrupted from the big leagues(Premiership,Primera,Bundesliga,French league) and all the teams have cheated some way or another.Juventus got the blame because they cheated on the highest level.

He hasn't worked here because of his own bad attitude. He didnt work under Roeder He might work under Allardyce You cant write him off even before you seen him how he'll play under Big Sam
-
Ooh, there's a challenge i'm obligated to rise to. Not, clearly. You are again making judgements of someone you know fuck all about, but you just continue if it makes you feel better. I am not comfortable joining in the hero worship and ridiculous statements, and no doubt i will continue to be accused of being negative - as opposed to honest - for it. Hey ho. What are you talking about man? I never said Allardyce will transform Carr into the new Danny Alves and Babayaro into the new Maldini. I only said that Allardyce's training and tactical methods will help the players to get bettter=better fitness-better training and tactical methods-better form-better performance-better team display. I can guarantee you that players like Carr and Babayaro will look better under Allardyce then they were under Roeder or Souness. That is my whole point Dont you agree with that?
-
and Young is world class???
-
Did you expected something different to happen?
-
Thats how 2 players with 2 passes can score a goal through the whole defence
-
I was hoping to watch penalties but... Bye Bye Man Utd
-
So, it appears that Roeder had agreed to keep Pavel for another year,? Why? He was only brought in to cover Harper when both Given and Krul were injured! Where was the logic in keeping him for any longer than needed?? Because Roeder is stupid cunt thats why He would probably had kept Bramble and Gooch too.
-
I think everyone will benefit from Allardyce training and fitness methods.

no need to get rid of Carr, what are you kidding me? At least Carr’s proved himself to be a quality right back in the past... and he plays in a position where we need players. It makes far more sense to me to let Sam have a go at turning him around than it does to buy “our version of Diouf” Cisse, or any of useless mongs that people on here keep suggesting for the sole purpose of letting Allardyce resurrect their careers.... we have plenty of our own that he could do that with already. We’re not Bolton... he can either give new life to the players we already have or buy quality replacements. Even if he chooses the latter option, we can’t afford/don’t have time to bring in enough quality players... so we’d need to hang on to more than a few of those we’d rather left. I expect Carr to be one of them. Agree with you. Alot of people on here are suggesting that we should sell Owen,Dyer,Parker,Zoggy,Carr,Babayaro!@!@ And after that we will play with what??? We cant afford to lose 10 players most of them 1st team players in one transfer window. Allardyce is not a magician. I think he will do a good job with players like Parker,Zoggy,Dyer,Carr. Maybe next summer we can afford to sell some of them but right now we released enough players already. Lets now concentrate on bringing good replacement for this 5 players we released already. Lets see what can Big Sam do with the likes of Carr,Babayaro,Parker,Dyer,Duff and after that he will decide which players he dont need. He cant sell 10 players without even seen them how they play under him. Its ridiculous
-
Spot on... we've got a world class finisher in the side, and yet people just aren't bothered simply because he 'doesn't care' - which is exaggerated in this case anyway. Maybe if he cares now in 2 years time its almost certain that he wont sign new contract. So we must think about the future and if we can get 12m for him we should take it otherwise we might end up with nothing in 2 years time. Lots of us (including you and I) call the board for wasting money, loads of times. If we sell him now for £12m we've thrown £4m + wages + surgery down the swanny for nothing, just because 'he doesn't love the club!!!11!!1'. I say at least try get some value out of him this season, sell him next year if we/he want(s) out. I also want Owen to stay with us but i'll be very surprised if Owen signs new contract next year. And if we wait until next season to sell him his value would be pretty low considering the fact he will be free agent the summer after that. It all depends on the fact if Owen wants to be here for the long term or he is waiting for his contract to expire and leave immediately. If its the second one i think its better business for the club to sell him now. With 12m we can buy another striker and still have money to spend on other positions. Also Martins and Owen are similar players and it would be better if we play some partnership like Viduka-Martins rather then Martins-Owen.
