Same, well Spurs mainly for me.

Watching that Diego guy playing for Bremen against Rangers since people were saying we should sign him. Looks pretty decent, bright and always wanting to make things happen.

Turned us down.

I don’t get the impression you’ve all been waiting with bated breath for this, but this is a top 12 of post-war managers in England, in terms of trophies won. Putting in Scottish trophies made things a bit complicated and distorted, especially considering I’d have had to include Souness. Missing out his Aberdeen achievements is to Ferguson’s cost, of course. I’ve also missed out one-off games like the Community Shield and the European Super Cup. To make it a bit fairer, it’s two points for winning the League or the European Cup, 1 point for any other trophy. Actual trophy numbers in brackets, and used as tie-breaker. Some of these names will mean more to us crinklies. I don’t think I’ve missed anyone. Pts Tro. 1. Alex Ferguson 28 (18) 2. Bob Paisley 22 (13) 3. Matt Busby 14 (8) 4. Brian Clough 12 (8) 5. Arsene Wenger 10 (7) 6. Kenny Dalglish 10 (6) 7. Bill Nicholson 9 (8) 8. George Graham 9 (7) 9. Bill Shankly 9 (6) 10. Don Revie 8 (6) 11. Stan Cullis 8 (5) 12. Jose Mourinho 7 (5) Interesting that Mourinho gets in there, after only three seasons, and you can make a strong case out for Cloughie, getting in at number 4 despite only managing Derby and Notts Forest - clubs he actually took up from the Second Division. Ferguson's achievements with Aberdeen were fantastic and on a par with his achievements at Manu so if it was just about comparing Fergie and Wenger then I would look at those too but your list is a fair comparison in terms of what has been achieved in the English game. Says a lot about Mourinho for him to enter that list.

Surely when you look at two managers managing two of the best and biggest clubs in England then trophies is the only objective way of assessing who is best. It's obviously different for players. I'd agree with that. I don't see how you could say someone's managing of a club is better than someone elses based on anything else when assessing two of the biggest clubs about.
-
I'd agree with that.

Who went through, Seville?
-
Until Wenger achieves what Ferguson has then its obviously Ferguson.
-
Milan badly need to freshen up their squad imo. The same core of players have been there for so long.
-
In tears aswell. I think Gary Caldwell tried to rape him

From the BBC Asked if beating Barcelona at the Nou Camp was as big a challenge as climbing Everest, the wee man said: "I don't know. I'm not sure what the second highest mountain in the world is called, but it's a good climb anyway... and a few people have died trying to climb it."

I use bluesquare, seems fine to me. Gives you lots of different things to bet on.
-
Another midget striker, no thanks. He's not bad though, good attitude and is good on his day.

I'm surprised East Stirlingshire can afford to feed John Hartson. I've heard he drinks a shit load of guinness aswell.

Wigan, Bolton, Middlesborough in: West Brom, Forest, QPR
-
I live in hope too. Derby and Fulham are down imo. The other place is getting very close now though. Birmingham have hit a bit of form and they are extremely hard to beat so you can take them out of the running also. I just hope Wigan, Reading and mackems continue to be equally shite.

And that's my whole point. If we have to rely on Martins and N'Zogbia.... Rather them than Duff and Smith/Owen. So what is Owen now? A set piece specialist? Can he still score from open play? He's just a horse specialist now and he's past it, finished, shite. So are 90% of the squad.
-
Don't think so, if Owen had scored today it would of been a different game and we could of won it comfortably.
-
I fucking love Baba O'Riley, learned to play it on the drums the other day, fantastic. Hearing that should inspire us.
-
Get Oba on 2nd half for Owen to keep the pressure up.
-
Sure is, especially how we happen to fall apart in every 2nd half.
-
Owen's busting a gut for the cause according to Radio Newcastle. Plus it was his assist for our best chance. Fair enough i didn't trust them anyway
-
These Blackburns guys are saying Owen has been terrible so far and Smith has been good.
-
Listening to a blackburn radio channel, they are talking about Harpers Bizarre, a band who covereda Simon and Garfunkle song
